Lol. Before now, you guys always wail that there is no brown roof in the SE.

For too long people left you alone because they are not interested in your erosion ravaged region and no zeal to waste time on your states.

I have so far been able to lay my hands on Enugu because in the whole SE, Enugu is the only state that have google street view.

That is why people were able to provide countless brownroofs of Enugu on the internet.

Now imagine all the remaining SE states have google street view, just imagine the eyesore that will follow.

Also, the land area of the whole Owerri is just as one or 2 local government in Ibadan. Infact the last time I measured it, it was almost the same size as Oluyole local government in Ibadan. Just one oo.

Now check the population of people and buildings in Owerri with just population of just one local government and buildings in Ibadan. Now use all the whole 11 local govt of Ibadan to compare.

Almost 30million Igbos are living in that tiny SE states that’s almost as Oyo state size and yet you can’t develop it above other states.

Now imagine all Yorubas living in just Oyo state with the population, what do you think will happen?
Ramblings of an ewedu low confidence mgbati man, 90% of Ibadan is a village disguised as city, a cluster of brown roof bungalows stretching as far as the eye can see, be gloating about the sheer size of your rotten city with dilapidated buildings, an ocean of brown roofs is what you are calling Development.....it's better to have a thriving forest on that land

Lol.

Ekiti Governor Fayemi is one of the performing governors currently. The investment he already attracted to the state alone is more than what that PDP Fayose was able to achieve.

What about Ondo state? The guy is trying also and above average.

Why should I take a bus to Imo state when I can always see the work of the Governor online if it exists? Do you need to go to Ogun State before you can see what Abiodun is doing?

Of course you cover their underperformances under the guise of "they are trying" .....it's our Governors that are not trying?, yet we are on their necks everyday on social media calling them out endlessly, while you hide in your brown roof city slums and pass judgement, come to my village let me watch as your mouth will hang open in amazement of structures

Lol the backward buildings lol.

What exactly is the trend of this thread? Is it to show the roads or you want to show buildings.

When you get defeated you resort to digression and wailing.

We have seen Enugu and how worse the state is. Almost 70% is covered in brown roofs. Thank God for Google Earth!!

Change roof ke?

For what? These are depreciating items. We live in rain forest, roofs take the beating and vagaries of the weather. Why waste money to replace a functioning roof? Its color will change, thats part of the inherent flaw of the material.

You see my thinking above is the Yoruba way.

Below is the Ibo thinking.

The roof is turning brown, i dont want the people of Ekwulobia to look down on my village and think we are poor. Umunna its time for everybody to replace their roof. Bring camera and take picture to boast, show Uzoafia people our project. We are a developed autonomous community.

grin
Typical,....justify the rot and decay in your so called cities with sprawling Nauseating brown roof bungalows, you brag about the size of cities filled with rubbish 19century dilapidated buildings that can only serve as okwu alusi or Uno mmanwu in the south east

I am not about to start uploading pictures like a child. We have done this multiple times and I am not gonna waste my time tonight again on the same thing.

But at least go on this thread to see Abeokuta alone:
https://www.nairaland.com/5940220/beautiful-pictures-abeokuta-ogun-state

Lastly, because it is not on the internet dosen't mean it does not exist.

In a million years, no Ibo city will ever catch up to the glory and historical accomplishments witnessed in Ibadan.....including its great contributions in giving you many world recognized sons. Without Ibadan, who is Achebe? grin

These are copied designs from Yorubaland. We lead Ibo follow.

Show me any structure or town planning you have and can be certified as a pioneer design for Nigeria. Show just one. Anything you have erected are copy cats of what we have already pioneered and even moved past in SW. grin

With the heap of propaganda rather than actual work, i typically only believe when i see a notable building or landmark in the before and after pictures.

It appears that Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu has decided to be a good governor. Instead of the shameful Orjis that looted and ruined Abia State for 16 straight years!

That dilapidation is reason Achebe is successful. Without Ibadan dilapidation Achebe would have ended up a dissapointment like Zik and Ojukwu. Think about it.... grin

I think the Abia state governors media aids are not doing enough to show the governor in good light. So i will be showing you all the projects going on in Aba, Umuahia and other parts of Abia State.

Note: There was no single good road in Aba before Gov. Ikpeazu came to power.
There is nothing for the aids to campaign on.

Abia governor is a PhD failure.
