While the pics, memes and videos of the trending #BenefitBoys are funny, some are ouright disgraceful and shameful! It shows the deep rot and the height of decadence in Nigeria.

The less critical part of me would have felt good that youths in Nigeria can pull of a cool car to secondary school which could herald the emergence of the "Nigerian dream" , "The real "Nigerian dream" where majority of the populace are above the poverty line.

However in this case this "benefit boys" (mostly underaged and male young adults) just like their mentor's (bad politicians) amass this wealth from illegal, fraudulent and corrupt means. Then rush to social media to display their Ill gotten wealth and their lavish spending with reckless abandon while unguided individuals laud and sing their praises just as is done with corrupt politicians.

The so called benefit boys making fool and mockery of their teachers (skit or real) is appalling to see.

The Nigerian dream has been destroyed by corrupt leaders and bad role models. Teachers and parents are not excused from this moral decadence either.

The Nigerian youths needed a hero, mentor, role model, someone or people they could look up to. But what they have being granted is a license to tilt towards doom. Bad easily outshines good.

This is a time bomb waiting to explode while those who should know better smile in awe and promote nonsense.

There is no right way to justify a wrong thing.

Wake up! Being a benefit boy is not living the Nigerian dream.

Relax, he is trying to spoil your "business"
I actually own legal businesses now, but you can imagine with the rot in this country the idiot is concerned about young guys making cool money, he obviously prefers them to be suffering and begging.

It's just a comedy, they are not actual students, stop taking it to heart, laugh and move on.
