Let's us know the difference between the Rapture of the saints and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

RAPTURE

This is an event whereby people would be transformed into angelic beings and taken up to the sky when the trumpet of God shall be sounded.

1 thess 4:16-17

2ND COMING OF CHRIST

This is when Jesus comes back to rule the Earth rather than coming as a saviour. This time he's coming as a leader and ruler for a thousand years.

Revelation 19:11-21; 20:1-10.

A. RAPTURE

1. There would be a blowing of Trump
2. Collection of the saints, and change of garments
Who are the saints?? Saints are people marked by God to be living a righteous and holy life through the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave his life for man's redemption back to God.
3. Jesus himself is coming down from heaven into the clouds down to the Earth.

At the rapture as we see from the scriptures, the main reason is to take away the Saints. Why taking away the saints??
a. From the terrible tribulation orchestrated by the Antichrist (the beast of the devil)
b. From the wrath of God that will be poured upon men .

Ok, so when is the Rapture occuring then?

Let's see the word of God.
Daniel 7:20-22; 25
"And the ten horns that were in his head, came up a horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows, and I beheld the same horn made war with the saints and prevailed against them, until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom ..... 25. a. The Antichrist will be present in the world
b. The Antichrist will wear out (tribulation) the Saints.

Now we can see that the purpose of the Rapture is to save many saints who are still alive during the reign of tribulation by the Antichrist (no human being will be able to survive it, because it has been given unto him).

The Antichrist is against the saints because they won't want to obey immoral laws and then the saints will be termed haters, homophobes etc, and then the law of collecting the mark will come into play which many will collect, but the saints wont, and hence many will be killed by beheading or other means, that's why Jesus said in Matthew 24:21.." For then shall be a great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be; 22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.

So why did Jesus say no man knows the time of the Rapture

This is because even during the time of tribulation of the saints, only the saints will be passing through a lot. People who have identified with the Antichrist will be living their lives like every other day except the Saints who would be stifled and coerced and dealt with to collect the mark, some churchgoers will fall away, as explained by Paul, while some will continue to the end.

However the day Jesus comes to rapture the saints will be like a movie because many persons will taunts the believers as in why no one will be coming to save them , and then the rapture will take them unawares, and many will weep why they took the mark and sorts because the next thing after the rapture is judgement of God. The second coming of Christ

After the Rapture, the Antichrist and his people will suffer a lot of judgment of God on earth, this is because the blood of the saints they spilled will be speaking against them.... However, since they can't repent again and they had chosen the Devil as their master, they will combine with the Antichrist to fight against the Lord Jesus coming this time as the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's
Rev 19:19-20; "And I saw the beast and the kings of the Earth and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the white horse and against his army" 20. And the beast and the false prophet were taken and cast alive into the lake that burns with fire and brimstone".

Now we can see the difference between Rapture and second coming

While we await the RAPTURE, it is expedient to note that this event occurs daily on individual basis. This event happens when one dies. Thus, his/her "rapture" has occurred and the next event is the Final Judgment.

Also there are two wars to be fought at the end times...

The Antichrist and the armies of the kings of the Earth.

Then the battle of Armageddon after the devil has been released from his 1000 year prison, when he goes to deceive Gog and Magog, and encamp the saints city.

However, the end of all the wars, is that both antagonist will be cast alive into the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second date.

The first war, happens during the second coming on Christ.

Actors: The Lord Jesus Christ, The Antichrist, the false prophet and earthly government armies.

The second war, happens after the millennial reign of Christ on earth with the saints (raptured-personal and trumpet ones, and those who came out of tribulation without receiving the mark)
