When osinbajo talks and cannot backup his words it makes him like like a propagandist of this government. He better not be telling another story. |

Randy91: That's funny. You said he has been relegated yet he is siting on 2.3trn economic stimulus package. So how do you make sense of that please. A package that can benefit you and your family. |

RichBoy247: You can't do abracadabra in an economy revival. All you need do first is to design a plan and then work toward its implementation which VP Osinbajo is letting us know. |

sulaak: You can imagine! But I suppose it has become an impossible and unthinkable act since they're benefiting directly or indirectly from the sad state of power same way they're exploiting insecurity. What a pity. We missed the Nigerian meaning at a point and have not been able to find our feet again. |
Re: Osinbajo: FG Has Started Implementing Economic Sustainability Plan by Abohboy: 7:33pm On Aug 11, 2020 |
sulaak: That’s not true, do you know how much transmission infrastructure costs, we can only handle 5000MW on it but we produce 13 000MW so for 33 000MW it will cost over 30 billion dollars, to produce the electricity and create the transmission capacity to handle it and distribute it. |

Re: Osinbajo: FG Has Started Implementing Economic Sustainability Plan by sulaak(m): 9:31pm On Aug 11, 2020 |
Abohboy: Nigeria can only handle 5000MW transmission because... - The government owns TCN , a government that can't even manage the oil refineries will now supply gas and transmit electricity. - What kind of government will generate electricity in Egbin, Lagos state and then transmit electricity to Maiduguri in North East Nigeria. A smarter government will localise the power source, generation and transmission of electricity to a region. A new 5000 mw will cost $2-3 billion if localised to the SE, transmission construction cost will fall to to less that $500 million. The hydro dams in the North will serve the North - Power generation should focus on supplying only establishments, government facilities such as waterworks, sewages systems and industries. - Solar power can be dedicated to housing and education facitities - Nigeria Minister of Power have always been political appointment based on self-interest when the country is crying for technocrat. Saleh Mamman - A civil servant with no notable work experience excent as a school teacher as a state government civil servant for 20 years. Babatunde Fashola - clueless Bartholomew Nnaji -Brilliant technocrat that was only given one year before he was forced to resign by the weak GEJ When Prof. Bart Nnaji resigned his position in 2012, the Economist magazine in its article titled "A Bright Spark is Extinguished" stated that Mr Nnaji's supporters say that opponents of privatisation belatedly and unfairly engineered his departure.[citation needed] “Nnaji was the best person for the job,” says an adviser at the presidential task-force on the reform of power. “But he was getting in the way of other interests.” A spokesman for Mr Nnaji said he had faced "totally wrongful accusations" and chose to resign honorably.[5] |

As the government makes plan to support long term growth in the economy, it's equally important for us to seek the right help when in need of one. FCMB in collaboration with Wellvis.org will launch her digital health advisory services tomorrow. You can visit https://on.fcmb.com/30HnRLF for more. |
