God does not choose wife for anybody. We as humans have the free will to make our choices whether good or bad. The first person he chooses a wife for was Adam and Adam blamed God when He Adam fvcked up in the garden of Eden. Since then God just freee man to pick wife as he doesn't want to involve himself in someone's family issue.
He gave man brain and dick, then tell man to use the both of them.
One thing God has not stopped doing is supplying earth with women in all shapes and sizes, beautiful and ugly, smart, dumb and bimbo different skin colors as choices differ. The earth has never gone short in supply of barnies.

This is a very tricky question but I think so because God knows our future and he knows what's best for us, we can't see our future, only him can.
