horsepower102: You don't need to bother your self brother. Economic analysis from Owambe masters should not give you stress. This kind of report is the exact end game of the age long Igbo socio economic emasculation. The expected result has been far and in between because of the resilient spirit of Ndigbo, so any time they get small semblance of victory it is world cup celebration. The aim is, deny them critical infrastructure and make the region unviable so that they will never rise to challenge the staus quo. But Igbos have refused to be down. We went the extra mile and acquire economic emancipation. In the west, the Chinese establish the business, employ the locals while repatrating majority of the profit to their countries. In the east we build businesses and employ the Chinese and Indians to help out with technology transfer while the money circulate in Igboland. Now who is the boss? 5 Likes |

gnykelly: Everyone wants more FDI, but not to the point of deriding local investment or making it look inferior to FDI. No country started their match to industrialisation with FDI. The so called foreign investment will never bring in their real technology. The are interested in consumerism and making real profit quickly. I prefer 10 Innosons plants to 50 Toyota that just want to build a glorified show room in the name of foreign investment. The engineers at innoson gets the technical know how while the one at Toyota gloss through the main thing. 6 Likes |

gwafaeziokwu: Borno is by far better than any State in the EAst and there are thousands of Igbo's who are doing business in Borno. Presently the Governor of Borno has achieved in one year, what no Eastern Region has achieved in the last ten years, upon the security challenges they are having. Abeg no compare Borno with the East, it's a slap on Borno. 1 Like

OP, with your upside down mentality, when they put you in power, I see you sharing kerosene and commissioning wheelbarrow like the useless leaders you have today. You beat chest everyday that you own this and you have that, you even develop the whole of Nigeria, but your regio is still the poorest, your budgets and IGR are the lowest in Nigeria, your governors can not commission anything beyond wheelbarrow and borehole. If your fake and imaginary investments are real and creating jobs, you won't be abandoning your village to look for survival in the SW and the North. Who are you deceiving gon sef? Are we all not Nigerians and we don't know anything about you or we don't know for a fact that there is nothing in that unproductive region? Delusional people. 4 Likes |

To all those idiots above me talking rubbish, only time will expose who is delusional. Continue allowing foreigners colonize you in your lands in the name of FDI. That’s why the Chinese and other foreigners can come to your lands and abuse workers without any consequences to them. They own you. FDI gbakwa oku! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sammy07: ORIENTATION101: Bighead9:Even in your region Igbos and foreigners are the ones controlling the economy, go to major markets in Lagos, even industries, you can't say the same in southeast, West has always be rated high on FDI, for example states like Lagos and Ogun always been high on FDI, while Anambra, Abia and other eastern states top in local investments, ask yourself why with the high FDI why Ogun still below Anambra in Norminal GDP, financial transactions by states, Anambra will always top especially in service sector which contribute large to national GDP more than industries. 2 Likes |

horsepower102: Hmmn, geneis of all these - so you mean Yorubas attack Kanu to the point he was advocating for their religious leaders in the east to be murdered, but if Yorubas ever respond, then your conclusion will be "Ibos never start attacks, but bla bla bla..."? Did Yorubas assassinate your leaders, seek to rule over your land and call you tribalists for resisting. How many Yorubas earn their living in the SE, stand on the street and call your lands unprintable names and declare it no man's land? Of course there's been lots of responses and deservedly so, but were you expecting us to keep quiet so that you can get your "point" across? Think, why will even common historical enemies stand on the same conclusion with regards to who you are as a people? Not to take away from the fact that we mainly consider you as good people. But to say Ibos never start attacks, common! be honest. Even Chinua Achebe, despite his one sided view alluded to this same problem. Imagine this FDI was 87% SE, and 13% rest of the country. Jeez! Just imagine! 1 Like |

rosebowl01: Yes Yoruba started the attacks. You all forget that Nnamdi Kanu used to be a member of MASSOB, a pro-biafran organization that was very respectful about their approach to the pursuits of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu Saw how you Yorubas used to insult and attack them and even rejoice whenever they are killed. MASSOB never insult anyone. After Nnamdi Kanu left MASSOB and chart his own path, he remembered everything you Yorubas did to MASSOB back in the days. Now you Yorubas are playing victims. 1 Like 1 Share |
