So I decided to share/write a little review about my BIG BATTERY phone, Oukitel k13 pro. It is precisely a week and 6 days since the phone arrived. I bought it from a guy on jiji, he advertised the phone for 60k. I wasn't in Lagos so I had the phone sent to me. 9 Likes 1 Share

The reason I bought this phone was very simple I needed a big battery phone I was tired of charging my phone five times a day always carrying power bank around with me whenever I'm leaving the house. I just needed something that will last me a whole day on full charge that's how I settled for Oukitel k13 pro. When I received the phone the first thing I noticed was the weight. Immediately I held it in my hands, I loved it. The phone weighs about 286g . That's the size of my power bank the phone is solidly built in your hands it feels very solid. Like every other phone in the market there are pros and cons I would like to start with the cons. Weight: I know that some people will have a problem with the weight, though my wife loves the phone cuz of the weight she plans to buy one for herself on her birthday (you know what that means ) Camera: Though the camera comes with 16 megapixel +2megapixel, 8megapixel front camera. The picture quality I will rate 70%. The camera is not one of its strongest qualities but it gets the job done. Speaker: Playing music, the sound is not as refined as the big shots but what do you expect from a mid-range phone. The manufacturer didn't concentrate on this, though it is manageable so if you love to play music a lot on your phone you have to live with the sound like that. No earphone jack: The phone does not have an earphone jack instead it has an adaptor cable that you plug into the phone first then to your headphone that's pretty much about the downsides. |

Now let's look at the pros. Used as power bank: Yes! You can use the phone to charge some other devices like phones, Bluetooth headphones, pocket Wi-Fi. It comes with a special cable that you plug to the phone the other end is then plugged to your device. Huge battery: Like I said at the beginning I was tired of charging my phone multiple times before night and with the current situation of Nepa I was always carrying power bank whenever I left the house. The battery comes with a whooping 11000 mah monster battery. I received the phone on Saturday around 5 p.m. in the evening when I put my SIM card the battery was at 78% I started to download some apps from play store, transfer some files from my old Samsung Galaxy s6 it took me about 30 minutes to 1 hour to do all these. I setup my WhatsApp, telegram, Twitter, Facebook all the socials after about 3 hours of using the phone I had only used 10% of the battery to 68% Next day Sunday I charged the phone to 97% and started using the phone. I browsed, watched dstv, played music, watched two movies, the phone was in my hands almost throughout the day I was pressing and pressing I wanted to really test the battery. To run down this battery is not an easy task, after about 7 hours of pressing the battery was at 78% that is like 21% usage.. if it were my Samsung s6 it would have passed out at the first 3 hours. After 11 hours battery was at 72% After a whole day I had only used 55% of my battery A day & 6 hours 41% A day & 9 hours 31% A day & 11 hours 24% 9 Likes 1 Share

Impressive right? That's what I thought the battery is a beast. on Tuesday I wanted to see how it will last for a not too heavy user so I charged the phone to 100% I received a few calls did like 15 minutes internet browsing watched about 40 minutes of dstv for 6 hours battery was still on 100% I just did a laid-back usage of the phone just normal calls normal browsing normal WhatsApp 3 days the battery was still on 41% yes 3 days. Nowadays I charge my phone once in two days, infact since I bought the phone I've charged the phone like 6 times the phone has fast charge technology the charger is a 30 Watt 5 volt 6 amp charger it charges the phone from 0-100% in about 2 hours 30 minutes. 5 Likes |

People criticize transsion devices and yet their dear iPhone and Samsung can't come up with high battery capacity.. Most of them using those two aforementioned phones have transsion devices as backup.. Hypocritical Nigerians. 35 Likes 1 Share |

internationalman:See this one mentioning Transsion How many times have Transsion released a 11000mah battery at 60k? What about the superior HD screen? I guess you don't even know much about the specs he wrote up there. All you took away was fast charging and ram and battery. What about the CPU? What about the 20+ watt fast charging which is superior to the yeye 18W fast charging that tecno advertises... and loses functionality after a few months? If someone asks you to back up this opinion of yours with points now, you'll likely take it personal and retort with insults. This phone is better than all the Transsion phones at 60k. 39 Likes |

SweetBuns: 720 x 1560 pixels is not Full HD (FHD) infact it is very poor or just average for the screen size of 6.41 inches, so there's nothing superior about it. thats what transsion has also been dishing out for years now. Also the Helio p22 chipset and Octa-core 4x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU is what you will find in most transsion products these days at same price range or even lower. The only area where they floored transssion is the massive battery and also the fast 30W charger. other than that, it is not different from a transssion product. 11 Likes 1 Share |

If not for its price of 60k (which to me is a bit high), I would have rated this device 85 - 15 above any tecno and infinix device (excluding the note 7) it's better than tecno and infinix within the same price range though. so 59 - 41 it is. 3 Likes |

MartinsD12:Why not ask for an mtk G95T smartphone with 12000mah battery, 48mp[true Sony sensor], 8/256gig storage, FHD amoled display and USB type c port? Why settle for mediocrity? It's your expectations from Transission that continues to drag the company back down. Have you Seen the specs on the Samsung M51? That is how you make a smartphone with huge battery, not powerbank with touch screen. 6 Likes |

MartinsD12: You are very correct. Because no device from Transission holdings is ever affordable. They are all usually cheap and below expectations; hardware and software wise, giving the most terrible experience. 2 Likes |

ZesusHVWritter:Well terrible depends on the type of device, some tecno products are good and durable, the software issue they are trying to improve, the truth remains that Transsion gives Nigerians what they want without much stress 4 Likes |
