Topsic70: Ojukwu bravely challenged the North by declaring Biafra when the killings of Igbos all over the North could not be quelled by the Federal forces. Whether Biafra was delcared or not, Igbos would still be killed. That was the situation then. It is more heroic to fight on, even though death is inevitable, than tamely staying on waiting to be slayed without a fight like most of your spineless leaders That was what Ojukwu did. Btw, if your argument holds any modicum of sense, why then did cowards like Awolowo, Abiolas etc still got killed despite their subservience? 1 Like |

Again, I wonder why some Yorubas get offended anytime cowards and cowardice is being discussed, Afterall, the likes of Gani Fawehinmin, Fela, FFK, Fayose, just to mention a few are no cowards! These are nobles! We know the cowards ... like you ... who is reading this now, Yes you who is eagerly quoting me to type rubbish 2 Likes |

I just felt that Ambode should drop the Name Akinwunmi Because Akin' means 'Bold How Can Ambode as a sitting Governor Could Say a statement that gave him out in the public just to please a godfather that he could have tested few uppercuts Ambode Said; Who am I, if Asiwaju decides? The implication of such remarks to his person is like dealing a big blow to your psyche and by extension he lost the mental battle already Ambode may be walking down the street and be scared of his own shadow casted on the floor by the streetlight, Because they say Once beaten twice shy...it may even be a continuous shying Please he should drop Akinwunmi Unlike Obaseki Who face his godfather and set him packing from APC secretariat And continue to give blows left and right with the inscription that shows that he is not a coward Forward Ever. 1 Like

Benbellamor:You are right, 'Akin' means bold but not 'senseless' nor 'dishonorable' Ambode may be walking down the street and be scared of his own shadow casted on the floor by the streetlight, Because they say Once beaten twice shy...it may even be a continuous shyingLolz, what u and ur lots are inadvertently saying without realising is dt: You are dishonorable and untrustworthy fellows who had rather resort to anarchy than tow d path of honor and take a bow when defeated. Picture a 'brave ipobian' in the position of Jonathan in 2015: he would never have accept defeat and won't mind taking d whole country down with him as it would show 'cowardice' to step down after d defeat. Its getting clear even for d blind to see d reason why it would be 'denjelos' for some ppl to mount d 'podium' of this great country. Odi velly - velly denjelos o 1 Like

Sophisticated slowpoke! You have no shame Ojukwu VS Yoruba Military Counterparts: Who is the Evidence-based Coward? Evidence #1 The counter-coup by the North did not succeed in Eastern Region. It succeeded in the Western Region. Eastern Nigeria did not come under the control of Gowon dictartorship until the collapse of Biafra in January 1970. On the other hand, Western Region fell, like a pack of cards, to the hands of Northern Nigerian Army. Evidence #2 Ojukwu vehemently rejected the hijack of power by the Hausa/Fulani and refused to recognize Gowon as the legitimate Head of State. He insisted on military order of succession and the emergence of Ogundipe as the rightful successor to Ironsi. When the north refused he said Bleep YOU and declared Eastern Region liberation from the Northern Nigeria enslavement. He led Biafra for 30-months while your kinsmen were eating AMALA AND EWEDU. He left two days before the collapse of Biafra. Evidence #3 Your Kinsman and Yoruba general Brigadier Ogundipe had no liver to condemn Northern hijack of power. He humiliated and hounded out of the country by Northern soldiers. They imposed Gowon, his junior on Southern Nigeria. Instead of challenging them and raising an opposition from London where he self-exiled, he again chickened out for the second time and instead shamelessly accepted the position of Nigeria High Commissioner to UK and became a spokesman for the very government headed by Gowon that humiliated him and denied him his rightful position. Only a Yorubaman will accept to become a obedient slave to a man that raped his wife and took his property. Evidence #4 Two other Yoruba officers (Joseph Edet Akinwale Wey and Adeyinka Adebayo) were ahead of Gowon and were next in line of succession to Ogundipe. Similarly, the Northern officers told them "Bleep YOU & Bleep OFF" and imposed Gowon on them. Adebayo and the entire Yoruba Military lined up behind the Northern Military like a lamp to the slaughter in the Nigerian-Biafra War - a war which the Hausa/FulanI fought for the enthronement of Hausa/Fulani hegemony while their Yoruba counterparts were used as disposable tools. The statement that best encapsulates the question Who is a coward between Yoruba and Ndigbo of Nigeria is Emiliano Zapata Salazar's (the general of the southern Mexican revolutionary army. Also, the main leader of the peasant revolution in the state of Morelos, and the inspiration of the agrarian movement called Zapatista: I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees” Quotes helinues: 1 Like 1 Share |

Great2017: Let me teach you wisdom, son. Read more books. Study the book of proverbs too in the Bible, no matter your religion. The 48 Laws of Power Law 22: Summary: When you are weaker, never fight for honor's sake; choose surrender instead. Surrender gives you time to recover, time to torment and irritate your conqueror, time to wait for his power to wane. Do not give him the satisfaction of fighting and defeating you – surrender first. |
