The Market is beyond the East, the Market includes the Northern Markets, it is easier and cheaper to get to Abuja from PH than from the North.

I have also highlighted severally in this forum that the landing cost , warehousing, Land transport , office space and other logistics in the East is more than 60% cheaper than Lagos .
With what is happening in Lagos now, the traffic, the road issues , escalating cost of living and doing business, the harrassment of non indigenous traders in Alaba Ladipo computer village, imposition of big license fees here and there , the East just got another victory , i trust the Innosson of this world to the opportunity to score another first.

All the East needs to do now is to provide a very secured business platform , make the roads and rivers navigable particularly River Niger so that the trailer carrying the containers dont turn eastern roads to Apapa roads . Put IPOB at bay and flush the east of the useless , good for nothing Nigerian Police and military check points hampering the free flow of good and services in the east and sit back and watch the east turn into another Dubai, Singapore and shenzheng. Another thing the East needs to look at is the renewable energy sources and other sources of power for the ew industrial revolution we are about to witness

Sure you are correct , Nigerian politicians will do everything to suite their game plan.

Even Niger Delta, only Delta state, Rivers state and Bayelsa State qualified to be called The Delta of River Niger

Onitsha is a City with So much potential, it has clusters of Industries and one of the largest open market in West Africa. Over the years Onitdha has grown rapidly and today many other Towns around it have witnessed an overwhelming development. Take for Instance a town Like Obosi, Uke, Umuoji are all regarded as Onitsha metropolis.

Obosi is developing very fast, it is an ideal location to invest, build and work in Anambra. It is just a stone throw from the commercial City of Onitsha.

PrudencyFeats:

Calabar to Warri is called Eastern ports.

Its the geographical location. South East is mere political name bacause the Igbos dominated Eastern Nigeria hence they are categorized as South. East.

The main eastern Nigeria is Cross River and Akwa Ibom
Point of correction all of delta state was not part of the eastern region it was part of the western region

It will decongest Lagos ports and the nightmarish logistics involved in clearing and transporting containers from the ports. And obviously, it is going to leave less awufu money in the hands of omoniles and olojas because there will be a significant population shift to the east of people that will want take advantage of the openings thriving seaports will bring.

That is why they are already displaying their anger. We never knew all this while that our common enemy is our Southern brother not even the Northerners. Obasanjo was there for 8 years yet he didn't seem it fit to open up Eastern ports for commercial operation. Immediately Yaradua entered he started dredging River Nigeria.

The oil rich City of Port-Harcourt is one of the biggest Cities in Nigeria. With Onne Seaport now opened up for commercial activities, Port-Harcourt is going to witness an influx of people who will come in for commercial activities and to seek for greener pastures. There is no better time to invest in Port-Harcourt than now.

Sir, I never mentioned Delta state in my statement, why u dey rush reply without reading through.
Moreover, Delta was never part of western Nigeria. We had them with present Edo state as mid-west and subsequently divided into Edo and Delta states.
