I was telling one of my kinsmen the other day as we discussed matters pertaining to football that the Suarez that I see these days playing for Barcelona is not the same Suarez that we all knew some years back. As far as I am concerned, Suarez is gradually getting out of shape as a footballer. He still has the killer instinct in him, no doubt about that, but he is no longer exactly what he used to be. But one thing is for sure, there will always be teams lining up to sign the man should Barca let him go. That you cannot take away from him. He is still a decent player. But performing at such a high level is a no-no for now. So, I am not surprised at this news in any way. I wouldn't say that I saw it coming but it was always going to happen. 4 Likes |
