Kelvin30286063: Have you seen anyone pay for groceries, clothes etc with pictures of ONGOING projects Or they pay with salaries received from jobs and profits from businesses? Has Barawo Bubu not failed woefully on these? www.nairaland.com/attachments/10087167_8d1a06eb50f54fe19b999e465d480eb0_jpegd3db90159d740729d7be5de33f2eadb6 Amidst rising unemployment, Nigeria’s inflation rate jumps to 12.82 per cent in July www.nairaland.com/attachments/11030223_images58_jpeg_jpegfc0e326760ac65c256eeb7793c405e27 5 Likes |

aysnoopy:And how old are those countries compared to Nigeria... I know we can be better, but it is complete stupidity that makes you people compare Nigeria to France, Spain, UK, US etc this countries are more than 500years older than Nigeria with exception of US.... Is Nigeria Economy not better than that of Egypt and Ethiopia, countries that were already civilized more than 4000years ago? Have you ever checked your history books to see what this countries went through to arrive where they are today... There is nothing wrong with aiming high but it is common sense to be very rational in your comparison..... YOU, WHAT HAVE YOU CONTRIBUTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COUNTRY APART FROM SITTING YOUR ASS DOWN AND COMPLAINING 18 Likes 2 Shares |

olus01: Mambilla hydroelectric power project - $5.8bn Giant of Africa that's using 5.8billion dollars to construct a damn that will only generate 3050 megawatt of electricity. At this time of life, a whole country of about 200 million doesn't even have up to 10,000 megawatt of electricity. South Africa HAS 10X what we can boast of... China has more than 10X10X10 of that... IS THIS COUNTRY CURSED? THAT MONEY CAN BE USED TO BUILD SOMETHING THAT WILL GENERATE 30,000 MEGAWATT!!! WHICH IS 10X. 5 Likes 2 Shares

EXOUSIAng: U have no good point here. What have you also contribute to the development of this country? We all know that corruption is everywhere which affect countries but I believe you can see with ur eyes and hear with ur ears how people in power in this country embezzle money and go to other countries to establish amd develop the place. Is Nigeria not better than UAE some years back? Look at there commitment and strong cooperation that makes dem develop the place. Are you telling me they are richer than your country? Use common sense bro Now tell me, how will this country develop? 4 Likes |
