This is the type of things he would support. State development support and infrastructure development support you won’t see him . I am an avid supporter of Pmb/Osinbajo but this guy is a NoNo.!!!!!!

That was a careless one Mr. Governor.

We shouldn't be paying for the ineptitude if those in government.

Would we have been badly hit by the rise in international price if our refineries had been fixed?

If the president were to be from the oda part of Nigeria, with all this hike in prices, extensive hardship in prices, food stuff beyond reach, believe me, their would ve being riot upon riot in Nigerian, killing their innocent brothers from de other part of the country.
Funny to know, that they cant buy rice in regions who crave for power and they are very ok. The violent youth and blood suckers dont care.
It wouldn't ve being so if it were Ebele Goodluck Jonathan on that seat.
God bless the peace loving Nigerians
But remember, seek justice wen you are always disenfranchised

To close the first page of this Important thread,
We say :
Sane, honest and hardworking NIGERIANS SAY NO TO FUEL INCREASE.

Oga chief manna, so where do you want the government to get money to keep fuel prices low? With our income from crude having been chronically low for some time, and half our budget being sourced from loans

Plus, Dangote refinery is coming on stream soon. I doubt he would be producing a liter of fuel below 150 naira. Plus he took loans to build the refinery. Do you want him to run his refinery at a loss?

Analytically, he's right. Electricity is expensive. Ask those who enjoy good supply of electricity either from IPP or NEPA, they pay more. The system needs clean up too and take up of responsibilities.
Bismarck Rewane's analysis on Channelstv yesterday justified the increase.

The hike may actually be intended for the good of the people, but the timing is terribly bad. Why hike two important areas of human lives in the midst of a pandemic while sane nations are doing many things to ease the lives of their populace?

The difference between increase in price of fuel and electricity under Buhari administration is that ALL stakeholders knows why there MIST be an increase and agreed that there should be an increase.

Total deregulation of oil sector was first introduced by Obasanjo's administration, ignored by Yar'Adua, accepted by Jonathan admitted but was forced to partially implement it, Buhari accepted was reluctant, until the opposition starts requesting for it, Buhari’s was forced to implement it when realities set in. He discovered that though he has stop marketers in scamming Nigeria at over 300% of cost price but NNPC after Ibe Kachukwu is scamming Nigeria at over 100% of the cost price. Plus the reduced revenue, opposition and elite calls, etc, he has no option than to implement total deregulation few months ago.

The surprise now is seeing people who are calling for total deregulation and was happy few months ago for its implementation speaking against the results of the deregulation they called for.

You cannot produce power at 53 naira per kwh and sell it at 31 naira per kWh

With government wasting 1 trillion naira, part of which comes from loans and grants to make up the 22 naira per kWh.

The power sector has been running at a loss since privatisation. It's the reason why we don't have sufficient light, because the sector is not earning sufficient money to fix things

Matters are made worse by discos not providing meters, and people not paying their bills.
my friend shut up, the government want Nigeria to pay for its ineptitude all the time, this government is bad for not accepting responsibility, you are flaring gas (wastage) instead of harnessing it, and you want Nigerian to pay premium prices
You made wrong calls in your investment in the power sector, you want Nigerians to pay for it
I know they ve unleashed you guys to do damage control,we are no fools
This yeye government is over stretching it's luck,i hope it doesn't regret it
