PAGAN9JA:

They are all to blame. It is a multi-layered progrom under which only the common man is suffering. Governor was himself in APC and then shifted to PDP. Gods know how much sin is on his head.

The Army is everywhere but they are having successes against everyone except for Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram. Army people stationed in Borno are deserting and fleeing from their positions being equipped with inferior weapons against islamists. And here they are flaunting all their strength.

It is a joke that the same Army that beat the IPOB revolutionaries could not hurt a hair of a rag-tag bunch of ill trained millitants and cowherds.

Below is the timeline of Fulani herdsmen killings from 2013 - 2015 before Buhari. What is Jonathan a christain looking that made all the killings persists? Or you want to say Jonathan is also willing to islamize the middle-belt too?

Let me tell you something, irrespective of the government in place, the middle belt people need to take the bull by the horn and do more of fighting rather than just sentiments. I know they are trying their best with the retaliation and ethnic militia but what is the result since decades ago? If you wait for Abuja to help you arrest the herdsmen then you will wait till eternity. ALthough Abuja also have a say, but the people themselves need to devise a way collectively to find some solution. How will they even talk with one voice when Tiv is at the neck of the Jukun man?

I remember Ooni told Buhari the other time when he visited him that Alaafin of Oyo had some vigilante that always deal with the herdsmens in Oyo without any media attraction. That is a sound of warning to Buhari and we also later developed Amotekun to give legal backing to those kind of establishments. If the Yoruba had been like you guys always crying and waiting for Abuja to help us arrest the killer herdsmen in the west and screaming islamization like the world care, are we not all gonna be at the same spot?

Thank God that General is not a northerner nor likely a Muslim; otherwise the usual silly bigots would have had a field day showcasing their stupid divisive tribal and religiously tainted conspiracy theories, against Buhari and the core north.

Now let's see how they and Ortom can play to the gallery and twist this latest saga resulting out of the age old Jukun vs Tiv communal crisis into a Fulani/Muslim victimisation agenda.

One of the most silliest of their allegations is the purported collusion of the army with the Fulani against Christians, as though the army itself is not made up of individual soldiers from all the various Nigerian tribes and divided between mainly Christians and Muslims.

You then begin to wonder how can such a mixed bag of ppl come together and successfully conspire against most of the other tribes (sometimes even against their own kind and religion) without any backlash or blowout from those involved - can you imagine such stupidity

When Awolowo fought for the creation of middle belt then during those days, what is the result? Do you know how many times the big Yoruba church establishment have given aid to the victim of the attrocities of the herdsmen in the middle belt. What about the Yoruba activists that have lend their voice of reason to the situation? What more should they have done? Pick up sword and behead the herdsmen for them?

How has the other southern tribe helped the people of the middle belt? I want you to please give me a convincing answer.

What are the other southern tribe doing for solve the problem of the middle belt permanently that you think the Yoruba lack. Can you tell me? Abi you think their online wailing will stop the herdsmen killings?

Shut up your putrid mouth. Awo did not fight for the creation of middle belt region. Yari.ba peeps love to arrogate bloated and feel-happy endeavors to Awolowo. As usual and home to Yari.ba people, they use undiscerning Nigerians for their selfish interest. Awo wanted to bring the Yari.ba speaking people of Ilorin and Kabba provinces into western region. In pursuit of this political end, AG used UMBC for the effort but failed. Awo and Action Group never achieved anything politically significant. Zik and NCNC fought the creation of Midwestern region out western region and achieved their political aim.

As usual, if Yorubas don't lend a hand of help they will say they don't, if they do they will say it is selfish interest.

Awo went into alliance with Tarka led UMBC during those days and they have their objective. Is Tarka of Ilorin or Kabba tribe? So Tarka will be stupid for entering the coalition just because Awo want to remove ONLY Ilorin and Kabba provinces? Can you see you are a dunce?

Professor Banji Akintoye even said it the other time that the Western Region under Awo that time were paying the salary for the upkeep for Joseph Tarka then to ensure the viability of the MB leadership.

When the proposal for restructuring the regions along ethnic lines was brought up with the Middlebelt wanting a separation from the Northern Region through the UMBC, how exactly did the Igbos supported them? The agitation led to riots in Tivlands in the 60s then with people seeking the separation but you guys looked away but come back to blame the Yorubas that at least lent a hand of solidarity.

Also, what is bad in Awo seeking the Yoruba speaking part of Ilorin and Kabba as part of the Western Region? Is anything wrong in that or you just choose to speak without thinking?

Because they fail dosen't mean they don't try but at least he tried. How could they have won when you guys in connivance with the North tried every thing to frustrate the effort? What about the secession clause that the thoughtless Azikwe spoke against? The greedy Igbos laid the framework for the rot in Nigeria but as usual they hide under the victimization of the civil war to feign innocence while they all blame the Yoruba of the west for every atrocities of this crazy country.

The only dunce in this discuss is you, sir. Tarka does not need to be of Ilorin or Kabba ethnic nationality to be bamboozled into alliance with Action Group not knowing the intention of Awolowo rested on Ilorin and Kabba joining western region. The fact remains that Awolowo and Tarka failed to create Middle Belt region out of northern region. In the other hand, Zik and NCNC succeeded in creating Midwestern region out of western region.

Why the bleep should the Yoruba care in the first place? When did anyone appoint the Yorubas as the police of Nigeria or the spokesperson of the country? How exactly have you core middle-belt ever benefited the Yoruba before such that we need to repay your loan with loyalty?

Why should there be a united front of non-muslim in the first place? Are the muslims in the south a plague that need to be eradicated? I have told you guys countless times to keep your religious bigotry and animosty to your South n North domain and leave the West out of that.

Why should the Yoruba care about IPOB? Are we the one holding them down? How have their own politicians and leaders helped their cause? Bleep IPOB and what they represent. That is none of our business and I don't think we need to care about those.

When the mate of the Middle Belt are declaring Amotekun, they kept shut and said nothing. Even if they claim to have militants working for them, they should have at least created a legalized force backed by the government so as not to see a case of killings by the army like this but their governors are ineffective and can't think.

Imagine if Terwase Akwaza was leading a state government back security force with well establish law backing their existence, will the army have any justifications to kill him like that? Even Ortom will be able to defend him well. But No, they won't do that but rather run to the media at every death and cry to curry sympathy while everything go back to status quo. Then find the Yorubas to blame for it as usual.

Keep blaming the Yorubas while your house burn, every man get him own cross to carry. We Yorubas even have more problem to deal with in-house.

Are you sure the guy PAGAN9JA is from Benue? He sounded like one of those IPOB guys that stay around that locality.

Benue people don't sound this way except he's one of those local naive fellow who has not travel out of his enclave before, and he has been influenced by IPOB conspiracy theories.

When he said "divide this damn country" he gave himself out immediately at an IPOB apologist.

You should pick one argument at a time and stick to the topic.

Are you talking about Biafra or talking about the issue of benue and the middle belt as a whole?

I am not interested in Biafra talks, I don't care about Biafra or what they represent at this point so stop trying to bring the argument towards Biafra please. If Wole Soyinka like he can chose to die for Biafra like Col. Banjo, it is none of my business.

So please stay on topic.

Nigeria problem is that there are far too much foolish people that can't think for themselves but turn back to blame other people for their own failure.

Since the issue of the Herdsmen killing started in the middle belt, why haven't they spoken with one voice to tackle the menace all this while? No they won't, they will fight amongst themselves without a common ground and turn around to blame the far away Yorubas of the West.

Radarada. Gen Yekini will continue to kill any criminal either Jukun, Tiv, or Fulani that the hands of the law get hold of coz he is a soldier of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you hateful souls like, wail till death, it does not stop anything!

Most of what you're implying could be conspiracy theories and therefore are guesses and not the true picture.

Tell me: Why would a governor provide amnesty to such a high-level military target without informing/involving the security agencies? What are they trying to achieve, or is the governor flexing muscles?

And please, all of us would do better if we leave the military out of our local politics.

Why are the Yoruba keeping quiet and speaking on both sides ? Why don't Yoruba have a fixed political ideology or stand up for the Democratic Set-up . They are making matters worse or else today there would have been a united front of non-muslim Tribes by now. But the Yoruba are busy hounding after IPOB. What has IPOB done to them? They are just playing double games. It is disgusting now considering the current situation of this country. They are stiffling any movements of resistance against this oppressive Fulani-dominated state.
if u read the history from d great kogi man( god) called otem u will see dat deceptions n craftiness started with d creator of d afonjas , no be today e don tey like 2350 ad

the Yorubas are not to be trusted. They are very unstable (the call it smart though). Dine with long spoon when you dine with a Yoruba man (even the so called friends). It takes very little for them to sell you out.

Abi you think their online wailing will stop the herdsmen killings?
you are a liar ,awolowo didn't help nor establish middle belt , u thought we destroyed d history , no we didnt, am a great student of history, we all know how awolowo led afonjas sabotaged Gideon orkars plan that would make southern Niger greater than china

. Just imagine

I keep telling people that yoruba is the greatest threat to southern emancipation. dude is beating you to line with reasons why you should always stand with your brothers down south but you have to revert back to bringing Jonathan to the discourse to please your masters up north

pagan9ja,yorubas are long lost to the north. the earlier we know this , the better
You need to fuccking understand that Yoruba are not part of your South, always bear that in mind. We are not in anyway related or connected with any of you people in your so called South. We are westerners and have never had anything to do with you people in your South. Get that straight. Go and emancipated yourselves, you don't need us to be free, likewise we don't need y'll as well.
