Oga the reason whu we will not follow these people is simple.
1. We are not a people who learn. We do not learn from mistakes, we do not take correction and we do not listen
2. Honestly there is no commitment to anything except to temporary irrelevant pleasures and distractions.
3. Zero sense of patriotism. People dont even know what patriotism is all about sef

When you talk patriotism what actually are you trying to say?

Following the recent trend on twitter "EducationIsNotTourism" which is currently trending on twitter. Nigerian students decided to join the movement.

The protest took place on Monday, 14th of September, 2020. In which Nigerian students used the opportunity to express their frustration to the German Consulate Lagos.

It will surprise you to know that the German embassy has not issued visa appointment dates to Nigerian students for 7 months while Ghana, South afica, Benin republic, Ethiopia etc have abundant dates. Enrollment deadlines are fast approaching and its looking extremely bleak for Nigerian students.

They decided to let known their grievances and here are the photos.

we just need to build our own country by our selves , build our own school to standard ,and make it attractive for foreigners to attend, and they pay the fees tru their nose also ,

since everyone in the world is restricting nigeria from traveling ,we just have to do the needful and develop our country

It sound like a joke to me whenever I read or hear words like this “ we need to build our own country” As an individual citizen how has your effort to build this country been effective?

Those that run the affairs of this country or those that are decision makers from 70s till dates have refused to build our own country.

Those that have the constitutional means refuse to build this country, is it the common man/masses that will build this country? is it not those elected as leaders that will build or make positive changes ? Yet they did nothing, so what can the common man you’re advising can do?

From now till 2050 Nigerians will continue to elect those that won’t build this country because it is the same set of leaders recycling themselves. So stop this cliche talk “we need to build our own country”
