This law cannot stand because it runs contrary to the constitution
Any foolish state law like this very one that runs contrary to the constitution will not stand and must give way for the constitution to prevail

The law will be trashed by the courts. The requirement is for a human rights body to take the matter to Court. Another perspective would have been to allow the law and use it on him when he loses the current immunity. Karma can be interesting to see at times.

Is Imo state cursed? But why she is blessed with controversial leaders. From Rochas who appointed commissioner of stomach infrastructure whatever then now another controversial gov. How on Earth does he think he can override the Nigerian Constitution with this yeye law? It can't stand the test of time.

This is a clear negation of the provisions of Chapter IV of the CFRN. Any law or statute that runs contrary or runs inconsistent to the provisions of the CFRN shall to the extent of such inconsistency be void and totally inapplicable....
