I disagree with you completely. Obaseki fought the good fight. Even his friends deserted him. His commissioners were resigning, and so did his advisers. He was really strong and God bless the APC governors who told him to decamp that they will support him. Do you know how much hope, energy one can get from such an encouraging support when the sky seems to be falling on chicken little?
Ambode was too cowardly. PDP governors were ready to support him. Lagos ODP has very powerful men and Tinubu knows that. Igbos alone would have made Ambode a Gov if he contested in PDP but the guy chickened out. He will always be remembered as the coward who advanced Tinubu's reign in Lagos by not fighting to the end. It is only in the end that victory is awarded

I know but there are other parties who got five, ten to fifteen, they will not be eluded when the official figures are being dished out. What the op posted as an official results are not official results until the portal is screen shot because from the portal all parties are represented

Well, what is often done is to capture the top three, registered voters, valid voters and void votes.

This particular problem is why presidential elections in Nigeria take forever to announce.

Ambode messed up badly.

As a politician the day you are sworn in that's day you start building your political structure discretely.

Not one house of assembly member was behind Ambode, not even his deputy. Even his commissioners those behind him were less than 10% of the cabinet.

He has learnt the hard way and they will torment him until he become useless politically.

Those commissioners are Oshiomole boys, I said his inner circle did support him. What do I mean by inner circle, I mean his vice, speaker and other close ally who knew his game plan and stood by him.
