Well, the leaders who travel to other countries on a steady basis should ask themselves if their own country, Nigeria is moving forward or not. I don't see any reason why we should be excited over this when there is possibility it won't even be maintained properly.

Anyways, Kudos to Nigeria.

Pic 2. Airport Station I guess they meant Railway Station. This country no balance at all.

By the way, the light rail is just propaganda mostly. The train that passes my side everyday is a re-furbished diesel engine that goes maybe 80km/hr. I haven't seen no light rail cab on the tracks for the past 1 year.

It's the Airport Station on the light rail: get off here to enter the airport.

Why celebrating it? We have the money to build more exciting one than this,even better than those of European countries

NO WE DON'T.

That is what you ignorant people need to understand.

US annual budget - 7.6 trillion dollars

UK = 1.6 trilion

France = 1.8 trillion

Germany = 2.1 trillion

South Africa = 125 billion

Nigeria = 35 billion

You are ignorant morons to think we are a 'rich country' by virtue of the oil wealth.

If we had only 5 million people like UAE, then we would be quite rich. But with 200 million people? Nahh.

The oil income is grossly insufficient.

Our Number 1 task is Diversification to raise govt revenues.

I think it is labelled as airport station as the train is meant to convey people to the airport in Abj...so probably that particular station is just for the airport

bro learn to appreciate good work, how many African countries has this?

Why compare Nigeria with other African countries when we should compare our country with other developed countries.

Na complacency go kill us for this country. Because other African countries aren't doing well, we should be grateful for making insignificant progress.
