No, you didn't get it.

The whole of SE is just like 5 LGAs in Oyo state.

Put SE inside Oyo state, it will just be like creating additional 5 LGAs. But as it is now, the SE receives almost 5 times the allocation of of Oyo state.

Merge the whole of SE into one state and be receiving just one state allocation. You will see the state (SE) becoming poorer than Niger Republic.

The SE should thank Gen Sani Abacha for creating Abia and Enugu state. As you can see, Abia state, which is barely the size of a LGA in Oyo state yet receiving almost same allocation as Oyo is still managing to survive.

That's the point.
Oyo should use their landmass as an asset to boost their IGR instead of lagging behind.

This is a case of big for nothing. Niger Republic is bigger than Isreal more than 20 times but Isreal is miles ahead of it

Lagos is a south western state just like Abuja is a north central state. Those who make those two places thrive are not the indigenes. But of course I know your next line of argument. You will claim yorubas built lagos the way it is.

If so what happened to the 5 remaining states?

I know Lagos was built by igbos.

But of all the states bordering Anambra, how comes none of them made the list?

Or is it that igbos are more interested in developing other people's land while their own land lie fallow?

Note, FULL STOP here.

that is how you people will stay at home and be talking nonsense.

which Oyo state?

when only ibadan which is just like idemili north LGA has 5 LGAs?(ibadan north, north ease, north west, southeast , southwest).

infact ibadan metropolitan has more than 15 LGAs when you add the likes of Ido, ibarakpa central, ibarakpa east, ibarakpa north, lagelu, oluyole, egbeda, akinyele, iseyin and olorunsogbo.

remove these from Oyo and tell me Oyo state is not just ibadan and Oyo (and maybe ogbomosho).

don't just sit in your house and talk rubbish next time.

And why didn’t this post make front page?

Oh I forgot, western Nigeria is put on a bad spot here.

Rather you indulge your political class and cover up their ineptitude, you all should expose and shame them so they can do better.
