However, the price of energy be it petrol or natural gas for electricity is global, so when your currency loses value, these things become more expensive. Either the Nigerian citizens pay, or the government pays as subsidy.

Local production be it telecommunications services, bakeries, barbers or even bottle water producers are all affected adversely by the fall because their profit margins naturally reduces if their customers cannot pay higher prices to cover their increased business cost.

The quickest way to make country a shit hole is to devalue its currency. Please stop posting your highly ignorant comment.
