I think it boils down to greed. Greed on the side of both the buyer and seller. Majority of buyers know the true value of what they are buying but will easily get swayed by ridiculously low prices. My advice is buy from well known dealers. There is a reason why these dealers have gotten to the level they are. You just can't buy integrity. Or go through a trusted person who understands the market.
