Why bring in Chacha's mental health struggle into this?
.
Her marriage crashes, next coupla days she’s diagnosed with bipolar, and she’s lying on the bed looking like someone that has terminal cancer. Miss me with that bro, she’s looking for cheap sympathy. Kanye has bipolar, you don’t see him in an hospital bed looking like who is dying

I am not surprised, all those cross rivers, rivers, and akwa ibom people hold so much importance to bride price that they can kill their daughter if the husbands did not pay pride price and later make the man marry the corpse in an organized wedding and all pride price paid, and don't think you can run away because they get juju, in fact na you go beg them say you ready marry dead body come pay bride price join...

A guy did Abuja marriage with one cross river babe. Her family never knew about so called marriage.

She born one, born two on the third baby the girl died.
That was when Casala burst
That guy saw hell
Both emotional/economic torture
He was forced to marry the dead body
Paid so much
Before the family agreed to bury the girl

A girl came from a place
If you want to marry her
Make sure you settle everything with her people

But the grandmother selling the baby should face the law. We are not in slave trade

That Duru is a useless man calling a woman he has not paid her bride price his wife. In Igbo culture the child is not his but rather the grandparents or anyone who finally marries the girl.
Igbo law is not legal law. Next time use ur brain. De man blood runs in de child. Not everything ur forefathers did u will inherit

The standard practice in sane societies is that the baby will be taken into custody in a care home immediately, cos it will be seen by the authorities that the child at this stage may not be safe to be kept with any family member. This will not deny the parent access to their child periodically until such a time the govt feels certain measures are satisfactory to return such child to the parent.

Which sane countries? In any country the child will be return to the guardian as they were not involve in the crime. Stop wrong. Care home only comes in when the parents of the child abuse the child or involve in the criminal acts inwhich at this instant they didn't.

Tell them to take malnourish and young children accuse of witchcraft by the foolish parents off streets first.
Are you saying that if it was not the grandmother doing this that it was a unknown person who is not a relation, that such a sane country would have taken the child into care home when the both parents were alive?
