What? N48,300 for a month? How much are you paying for the apartment in terms of a month?
Do you know the kind of gadgets or appliances he uses in his house?

Please what gadgets will warrant such charges in a month? Will he be using more than AC, iron, water heater refrigerator, washing machine, and other small points such as fan and lighting that hardly consume power?

FG better reduce fuel and electricity tarrifs, or do they want us to do a bigger protest for this, you people in public office earn too much, you can not lrave the brunt of your recklessness for us to bear, never. FG borrows money and follows IMF dictates to increase tarrif, the money dem borrow is for their own use, this is absurd.

So it will no longer be from N26 to N62 naira, but from N26 to N52 because of reduction of N10.

Which means it is now addition of N26 i.e. has been doubled.

This NLC is very very useless.
They have been compromised by money, sellouts.

I sometimes pray that those who dragged Nigeria into this mess will learn by 2023 but I weak because Some mofos are only after N30, 000 per month.
N30,000 per month is not the real problem o. The real problem is N10,000 per election year.
God will save us.

This is crazy. We should just be aware that we have no labour at all.

So after the 3 months what comes next? I only wish we take this #endsars protest further to #endbadgovernance and lock down Nigeria till we see tangible moves for real change

That's my bill for just three bedroom. I used to pay 26 for like 3 three years now. I just received this bill today. I've paid for prepaid. For them to bring it na wahala

Some people will not understand what you posted here. They don't understand because they don't get estimated bills. It has nothing to do with whether you are having 24 hours light or not. Imagine not having electricity for a total of 150 hours a month. Added to the fact that you come home from work around 8:00PM and there's no electricity, you have to turn on generator. At the end of the month you get a bill reading over 700 units. Multiply that with this crazy new billing rate and you know that these guys are out to frustrate people.
I use prepaid, recently delivered from Estimated bills from Ikeja Electricity and I can tell you, there's a lot of difference.

Maybe he runs a small industry that produces aluminium doors and windows or the likes.

What Prepaid Meter does is to make people take responsibility for how they consume electricity. Even if the Discos charge N80 for a kwh, the consumer can decide that all he wants to spend on electricity every month is N6,000 or less.
This can be achieved by using electricity wisely and prudently. That means using Air Conditioning only when necessary and switching off lights when and where not needed.
It is better than Estimated billing where a consumer that has traveled for 3 months comes back home to meet huge Electricity bill waiting for him.
I think the emphasis of this Labour and Federal Government discussions should be more on the provision of Prepaid Meters for Electricity Consumers!
I agree with you on this
