This government is confused

The moment they shutdown internet, the massive protests that will erupt all over the country will lead to full blown revolution.

Oil dey your head.. you don talk my mind.

A very funny govt we have in Africa, one has to right to protest. They should even be happy that it has no degenerate into a full blown war; revolutions in other place were cause by trivial thing; eg the French Revolution was because the women could not afford to buy bread; and the Glorious Revolution in Great Britain againt machine replacing humans in the work place and the rest is history.

When they really decide to shutdown the internet, your VPN will be useless, not shutdown a particular website but internet all they need do is tell your internet service provider to discontinue service case closed
That won’t happen unless you want to shutdown Nigeria’s economy. Only 20% of youths are on the streets and it’s like this, by the time when thousands of online vendors, remaining jobless youths, sympathizing elders, thousands of internet based companies, opportunits, etc, you will know that even your gun wielding soldiers will run away.

Lolz, African leaders and tyranny.
Black lives matter is still on in U S and President Trump never thought of shooting down the internet but a fool in Africa is thinking of doing it, anyways it's a welcome development but they should also remember that there are Apps to bypass the internet and I will also promise them that their soldiers, police and families will not believe what will befall them when the come to implement their aim of shooting down the internet which is to kill and hide their evidence from the world.
Once your ISP shutdown their service, that’s the end but that will create bigger problem.

Na beer parlour gist be that.

Which telecom pays for the sla downtime companies suffer?

- How many submarine cables are they going to disconnect?

- Who bears the loss of transactional downtime firms on stock exchange will suffer?

- Which firewall even exist to restrict internet temporarily for the whole Nigerians? The firewall go die from load

- Infact which BGP peer will you...........

.....you know what

na beer parlour gist be this, e no fit happen
Once they target our ISPs who will usually bow to their pressure, that’s the end. We don’t have satellite based ISP yet, until that comes onboard, it will be be hard. But the thing is that ones they shutdown internet, it will create bigger problem for them.

The truth is Buhari has no good advisers. Maybe because he himself is allergic to common sense. Let him shut the internet and see what happens. Nigeria is neither Sudan not Chad you must know.

Where is Sowore and other pro revolutionist? The moment is here! Someone should rise and give this protest a direction. Someone should rise and chanel this uprising towards our collective problem: bad leaders. We are awakened!! The fire shouldn't be allowed to quench!! I am awakened!!
part of the reason this protest still get head na bcs there is no one person you can pin point and hold responsibile.
