RIGHTEOUSNESS89 is busy planning of how to go to Heaven to meet such a place when such places are already here on earth.

Give it to a BLACK MAN to run and watch it wallow in misery and destruction

I like this... Can you send me the cost of planting these? Say on a one kilometer stretch ... I know someone that would be interested in Abuja

It has been my observation that most Nigerians think nothing good can ever emanate from Nigeria. Their life long dream is always to migrate to developed countries , but they forget most things in developed countries were deliberately set up by human minds. Nigeria can be just as beautiful and developed as anywhere in the wold once the humans makeup their minds to put things in place.
I'm not sure if these trees already exist in Nigeria, maybe not that many ,but i think they thrive in Tropical climates . The photo below is Singapore which has the same tropical climate as Nigeria or could be hotter than many parts of Nigeria. I think Nigerians should care more about aesthetics . Most things in Nigeria are poor quality with lack of attention to detail . Having these trees at public parks and on streets would beautify the entire place once in a while and is also good for the mind.

Oga, stop the fantasy, you can only dream of achieving this quickly if the country splits. Such won't happen with the present Nigeria system and constitution, at least not with some of the cities you listed above.
Everything will be possible, if we restructure the country.

Nigeria isn't so bad though. I think it's more about the dusty environment occasioned by several untarred roads.

Those are not Cherry Blossoms .Cherry Blossoms can not grow in tropical climate.
Blah blah blah ,
Those are Sub tropical and tropical trees . Your sadistic job is to oppose any progressive ideas or give a million excuses to remain a shithole. You never come up with any ideas or make any efforts, donations, or contributions, your job is to oppose . That's why Nigeria and Africa is in it's current state with slavish mentalities like yours. .
The Cuban Royal palm was originally from Cuba but now introduced to many tropical parts of the world due to aesthetics .
Singapore is a tropical country and has introduced the Trumpet trees while clowns like you prefer to remain primitive.
Millions of the Trumpet trees will be planted at Calabar and Calabarians will love it , you can chose not to plant them at your place, that's your business. Calabar will be first world developed by 2035 and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it .
Wow. Do you know that you can pass an information without insulting others?

My comment was to take your mind to certain factors that are worth considering, but your response is just uncalled for.

Are you saying that I didn't bring a solution? What about "To sustain the culture of planting trees, we usually regrow native trees. Native trees are trees already in our locality".

Tell me why I should hate the idea of planting beautiful trees in our country? To make every idea work, aren't we meant to consider everything that can influence it?

I tell you again: you can pass an information without insulting others. I demand an apology

Beachside how far?
I know you are the one.

How much is the tree, is it only governments that can buy it?

Sunstorm95 what's the name of the other trees planted in calabar that helps to cover people from the sun... I don't know the name but it's broad.

[quote author=Elijahrona post=94989045]Hello Sunstorm95, the trees are beautiful, but you have to understand some things when it comes to tree planting:

1. It is not recommended to plant temperate trees in tropical regions (same goes with planting tropical trees in temperate regions) for they may have stunted growth.

2. To sustain the culture of planting trees, we usually regrow native trees. Native trees are trees already in our locality. If we grow foreign trees here, they will become invasive species and might kill our native trees

Thanks...
