I respect democracy because it gives room for human imperfections, The executive and the legislative arm are more prone to misusing their powers, thats why the judiciary should be the last hope and arm of democracy, but its so obvious in our dear country the judiciary issa failure...everything would get damaged obviously... Truth is, with the quantity of policemen moving in convoy, the protesters must have thought the worst, thinking the policemen were deployed to harm or tackle them. So in "self-defence", they had launched the attack to wade off any potential threat

There is no self defence in attacking first.

Why should anyone attack RRS officers ? They've been fair in their dealings with the public as far as I know. They're also better equipped and probably well renumerated by LASG.

The protesters need to restrategise quickly before the bad guys take over.

If police men are serious all of them should Join the protest or at least go on self strike as a sign of solidarity.

Sometimes, we just need to look ourselves in the face and tell ourselves the truth. The government is bad but this attitude of conspiracy theory and blaming government for our own recklessness is part of what has kept the country the way it is. Instead of people to speak up with one voice and condemn violence, you're all putting the blame at the feet of the government. I'm in total support of the protests, but let's condemn what is bad when we see one. Let the protesters stick to issues and not give government any reason to tag it as civil disobedience
