But why flog them off the streets? You don't flog or shoot people for exercising their constitutional rights. Yes, the same way it's the people's constitutional duty to vote, it's also their duty to protests again bad governance.

The civil way will always come, no matter what anyone does. When the people are tired of the thieves who have been running the country and mortgaging their future and that of their generations to come, they'll take up civil disobedience. That's what blocking the streets is.

IBB tried the same tactics in the 80s, but in his case, he sent out riot policemen, not soldiers.

I believe you and agree with you. That is where a sensible man applies reason and WISDOM. I'm saddened by the turn of events but I'm not surprised. It was always going to come to this as long as people remained on the streets. We have to admit to ourselves that we as a people don't know when to STOP.

The protests started peacefully and in my opinion, achieved it's initially objectives easily without much bickering from the government. It made no sense for people to demand for what is already theirs. It makes no sense now.
