Let me just caution. Youth think Think and think again. You all have been played into fighting the wrong person. Yes Tinubu is a politician but the problem right now is govt. There is an agenda to take Nigeria over using the north. Buhari might even be out of "sight" Go and look at all the the appointment is all they ministries and parastatals. All are notherners about 98% are northerners. All the properties burnt are supposedly owned by Tinubu and u are here shouting against Tinubu. Will Tinubu burn his own properties? How come all media publication, houses , hotels, tollgate supposedly owned by Tinubu were torched but dangote refinery was left. How come Tinubu is in the same ruling party but also in the opposition. See Tinubu is the only check and balance against the powers of govt against the Southwest whether pdp or apc or whatever. I don't like him but You need money to fight battles and if Tinubu is gone they will run Southwest over like they have run other eastern states of which Wike is the only opposition trying to curb it. Youth think. Fight against the northinization agenda and for a new Nigeria and when we are through we would visit Tinubu and other politician matter. My 2kobo |

dominique: If you know Nigerian politicians, you won't pity them. The house of a top Lagos politician was burning and we went there to help only to find election relief packages including t-shirt, bags of rice, tomato pastes (just imagine) all customized with 2011 election. It was 2017 then. People got angry and refused to help. 1 Like |

Let no one trivialize the burning becauseyou know your brothers are complicit, right? For me the whole thing is bittersweet in the sense that if Yoruba Oba had regulated Igbos movement into Yorubaland, all this won't happen to this extent. Everyone knows it's the Igbos that led the invasion to the Oba's palace, we know what Yoruba can do and what they will never do. After this if Yoruba don't sit up and have a reality check and at least stunt your growth any in every which way possible and stop including you in our affairs, I would support you to take their heads off in addition to the looting next time you pull this kind of stunt. Lush100: Look at this one. Is Dangote a politician. Please point to one foundation that Tinubu has that give to the needy or society. Does Dangote cunningly acquire and corner peoples business ideas? Does Dangote collect a fraction of any state tax after signing off a percentage of revenue to companies he or his allies have interest. Does Dangote take over critical sectors in a state economy to the point that any development or project/proposal goes through him or its a no show? Point to a company openly owned by Tinubu that everyone know he invested his life and time in aside politics. That's the difference between Dangote and Tinubu. Reason before commenting. Tribalism will not help anyone. And Dangote did not come out to justify the use of force against peaceful protesters. 3 Likes |

J111333: Let me educate you. The Oba of Lagos palace is located in the interior of Lagos Island and only residents in the neighborhood and surrounding area could have stormed the palace. If he was a good man, the people in the neighborhood will protect the palace. No outsiders can enter Lagos Island and storm the Oba palace without resistance by residents, except if some insiders in the area have been co-opted into the operation or the Oba is such a terrible person that residents will close their eyes or look the other way. He is supposed to be their Oba. And their are numerous royal chiefs family houses spread across the Island. It seem he is depised by the people. 1 Like |

Real enemies of the people .The federal government sent palliatives only to keep it in your own palace and your people are hungry . this is pure wickedness and greed. I don't blame him anyway, he is an ex police officer , who is used to all these kind of nonsense behavior. I want to know how he will be able to rebuild his palace back now since the government is busy quelling the riot. Very very unassuming, a whole king who promised to dump a tribe into the lagoon should be charged for incitement and attempt murder. Bad example of an oba |

Sir, those things burnt are companies irrespective of who own them. They pay taxes, they hire people. You think dangote alone own those companies in his name. In my write-up,.I did mention we would be coming for Tinubu and his cohorts later. But first thing first, to stop this agenda. Well I have made my point, but if u are from the southern/Western part of Nigeria I would employ u to think again. If u feel destroying those companies is the way out, pls kindly continue. I want a restructured Nigeria where merit is encouraged. ajl: |
