The issue is that governors do not have any powers over these person's. They are just figurehead chief security officers.
Meanwhile, the man who command them is not just interested as you can all see. How can somebody be called chief security officer of a state and the person can not have any inputs on security matters. This our current structure is not just working. It is an illusion.

That's my view as well, he is someone who has empathy but unfortunately his hands and legs are tied by the person who put him there. Had it been he had free hand, he would actually have made a good leader. Same with Osinbajo. Very unfortunate situation.

You can go out there and carry placard to endbadgovernance and get shot in the head. You people just sit in your phucking houses and be typing rubbish. Are you happy with all the private properties burnt, do you realise some people have lost their jobs due to the looting ? The governor is making effort and you talking rubbish. Do you not know your LG chairman, senator, house of rep members, commissioners and ministers? Why not go and face them and attack them instead of chasing shadows. Some of you just want to waste your lives away dancing and eating at some useless jamboree in the name of protest. When you are ready you will face your real oppressors and take them out one after the other strategically instead of making noise up and down.

To make this people understand that we mean business, I think the youths need to come out in their numbers and be at the court to witness the judgement and also make sure they witness the execution of the ones found guilty. This will send a very strong message to the governor and everyone in power that audio talks will no longer be acceptable

This is simply 'window dressing'. The only reasonable and acceptable action is to give the whole SARS population, including the females, a blanket dismissal from the police force at once. Full scale investigation should then be carried out on every one of them by a neutral body outside the police force, and maximum punishment be applied on those found culpable after trials in the courts, including death penalty for the confirmed murderers amongst. Dismissing all of them is another way of creating job opportunities for the unemployed youth. This is a good starting point.
