where is nscdc I mean civil defence. they are armed so they should join the police and army to contain the hoodlums..
I also think the navy and air Force should also join. ditto for customs.. they all bear arms.. the police and army are overstretched..
the government should give these other military and para military organisations, clear rules of engagement that will ensure that only the hoodlums are confronted without abusing the rights of law abiding citizens..
this country is in dire straits

Classic case of beauty with no brains.

Nigerians are bad people, possibly cursed; and we’re diligently working hard to stay stagnated.

Its not by rejecting its already been 60 years in Nigeria and what progress has been made? The little infrastructure progress that has been made has been levelled by hoodlums.... it's going to take a while to rebuild.... so it's a curse.....

There should be a rapid response system by the police. If Police cannot come to the rescue in occasions like protecting public property, how much more, private lives.

Especially ABS awka. All shades of lie and promoting Buhari's anti-people government. Everyone is already woken up at this sensitive period. Don't say anything that'd infuriate your people else they'd come for you regardless of who you are. When the government doesn't have subordinates, the place becomes lawless and everyone becomes a potential victim because predators are on the loose.

We don't even want the state to control media houses any more. Federal and State Government should hands off operation of this type of business. NTA should be scrapped, we don't need them.

What will this change? In the end it’s still the citizens that will bear the brunt of this. Inflated contract will be awarded to rebuild the station - opportunity for looting of public funds. Who’s losing, who’s gaining?

Misdirected grievances!

In a nutshell, there are hoodlums and thugs in all most all states in Nigeria. The presence of hoodlums in our states is another menace we need to put an end to Asap. Our leaders and politicians takes lion share of the blame cos they keep recruiting and using these thugs for their sinister agenda.

Gov udom Emmanuel is a very weak governor, why not order the army to shoot anyone trying to destroy the state government's property, he should drop his church mind ryt now and face those terrorists and enemies of progress.
God punish those that are killing the real intention of this protest.
