Seriously? So the whole idea doesn't make much sense? A new constitution would be more difficult to achieve. Asking the current politicians to scrap most of the laws that aid their 'activities', would seem to many as far-fetched.
No new constitution, no new Nigeria of our dream

Most youths are just going there to go and enrich them selves and their family members.

An average Nigerian thinks of himself first before the general public.

I think an average human not average Nigerian. There should be laws that would be put in place to put it in check.

Youths know nothing about governance
They dont have the capacity
They don't have the patience

All they know is Nigeria get money. Leaders dey chop. What is the IGR of Nigeria they dont know. Nigeria needs a visionary leader and not some Ex- SUG president. Dem think say na be to dey shout END SARS con dey loot join. Dino Melaye protest pass all of una put together. When he got power what did he do, na drip way e con dey.

So, what am I saying in essence is that we should elect leaders that have the capacity, the experience and the blueprint of what and how they will achieve it and not some premises..
Okay...
A youth can be such, why dismiss all young people?
They are even more capable! Those, 35-55yrs old are more exposed than the politician we currently have...
Since the conception of Nigeria, what have the older generation in power done?
It's stupid to do the same thing over again, expecting a different result.
Our leaders have looted too. undecided

this initiative is quite laudable i think it's time the youths are given the opportunity to showcase their allegiance and loyalty by creating a comfortable and an egalitarian society, a society different from this current state of shambles it is now, i knw it wll definitely be a concerted effort

WHAT HAVE THE YOUNGER GENERATION DONE?

Remember this same leaders you call old, got old in power. They started quite very young. So the argument is baseless. People should be elected based on capacity, experience and vision, irrespective of the age bracket you fall into.

What is it about the current constitution that you think don't favour development.

If a leader wants to work he can work. Fashola, Donald Duke, Dave Umahi, Godwin Obaseki they are good examples

I agree, but for 60years, we've given these leaders and those before to chance to rule and take things forward.

They haven't! How many credible politicians can you count?

This party would give the youths an opportunity to prove themselves...it's sheer idiocy to recycle the same corrupt leaders, none of whom would readily let go of their position.

But you're dissing young people, clumping them in the same category; irresponsible and incapable of ruling fairly.

Everyone should be given the chance to be voted for. If our current politicians don't feel threatened, then YDP is an endeavor they wouldn't be bothered with...

After all, it the general populace that would election who they truly believe in and want.

Dead on arrival. Small money now, they will sell out. See d way they twisted their head about lekki shooting and everybody is having a second thought. They changed it to tribal war and divided u guys. U couldn't stand in unity na party una wan run. U guys really think the north are jokers right? We dey wait.

Typical NIgerian. Una get master's degree for complaining and saying rubbish. You people have a thousand reasons why a thing will not work but no single way it could work.

My colleagues were saying the say trash today that the constitution needs to be changed. Then I asked them who will change it. The current politicians? They were mute.

People like u be will watching film during the time of protest. You have 400 ways the protest will not work. You are further justified by the hoodlums' activities. Yet you people will complain about how bad the country is. If somebody tries to do something, you will show your ugly heads about how absurd the thing is. Perhaps you are waiting for Angels to come and fix the country. It's like you people are born to complain.

You will see them with big grammar and elaborate theories. Big mouth bunch of mofos.
