Eyah, it's well, the governor did well by giving out the palliatives to his people, not like one governor who was using armoured tank to guide his own palliatives. 1 Like |

with what am seeing in this country, all our political class need to be crucified, because since 1999 that this country return to democratic rule,if everything that democracy provide and offer to the people, this country would have been like paradise,do you know that every senetor collect more than 200 million every quarter for constituency allowance,in a calculator then multiple it by 4 years, that money alone is enough to drive poverty out of their constituency,am not adding that of house of Representatives members.our political class are devils infact Satan is a good devil compered to where the Nigerian political class are.but one day God will disgrace them |

May the departed souls rest in peace. The rotten system made them who they are. The poor masses would be tagged as looters by the same official armed robbers who created poverty. No justification for looters though 1 Like |

Looting simply is Stealing. But, Look at it from this angle, do you steal from yourself? The answer is No! Those palliative items are meant for the people. Can anybody explain the rationale behind storing up anything that isn't enough for use? Is there any COVID-19 apart from this one that we already experienced or still experiencing? How many homes (based on a % basis) actually got palliatives? I live directly opposite a Local government council and never got palliatives or even see when anybody shared anything. My take is the politicians caused this. After many years of misrule, they turned the people to monsters. They frustrated the people. They turned people to animals who wouldn't reason right. It's hell being a Nigerian. Nigerians are hard workers! If you wake up 4:00am, people are already out on the streets going to work. Many years of hustling and nothing to show can tamper with somebody's thought process. I've often said it, The main problem we have is that cursed National Assembly. How can they be collecting #36m monthly and they govern a people they cannot pay #30k monthly? When you push a sheep to the wall and there's no where else to go, it will bite! By the time we clip the wings of the senators and representatives, our problems would have been solved by half if not more. Make those positions less attractive, let only people who want to serve vie for offices. But who will propose that? Not these current gang of thieves who collect millions for furniture allowance or wardrobe allowance. The hoodlums, the street urchins are the ones looting. If Nigeria is not a failed state, why do we have such a staggering number of hoodlums in the society? If senators and rep salaries are reduced to the barest minimum, think of what all the monies can achieve for the country. It can create industries thereby tackling unemployment, it can improve our health facilities, it can help in the educational sector, universities can conduct researches, security forces can get better equipped, it can build roads and bridges, our collective welfare can be improved! I'm sorry and empathise with those Nigerians who struggled by their own sweat to own businesses and their sweat got torched or looted in the mayhem, you never deserve it. Your country failed you. But those aggrandized thieves in government, who can afford those perishables but choose to deprive the needy people of it, Ah! Won ma s'oriburuku ni. Won ni ku re! |
