The staff is gone for life. It's a sign of a bad thing soon to be fall the king. Disappearance of the staff of office means, no king in the palace and for this to have happened, it means his choice as king had been compromised by the kingmakers. The right person was denied that throne, simple.
on top of that, he had to run away. He should have just gone exile. I thought they said where the words of a king are there is power and authority.

So they have finally seen the missing staff of the one and only political Oba of Lagoon? Has he also given an explanation on why he was hoarding palliative food items given to him to share to the poor masses? In a sane country, he would have been getting ready for court sessions and possible jail term. Wicked and shameless leaders

I know that fools like you won't even bother to ask if those food items were bought by his own money to share among the people....We now have adults who can't process simple information and can't ask critical questions to reach informed conclusions....The trend nowadays on social media is for A to pick up information posted by the half-educated B, and without pausing to think, A will pass it to an equally stupid C, who doesn't know his right from left...The result is a warped information loop which pervades Nigeria.

It's to show his mumu follower that the obaship and everything concern with it is not ordinary.

If he just enter the palace without all this jokes, people eye will open and laugh at him. The obaship will not command any respect, because people will be like is it not the same staff and palace that we have rubbished?

What he is doing now is to make people think he is doing some spiritual cleansing or refortification of the palace and the staff

Na scam

He's correct. Nebuchadnezzar was humbled and restored to his throne, just like the case of this oba.

You really missed the point.

Welcoming the same Oba of Lagos who had been hoarding palliative meant for the public in the midst of this global economic crisis. This is typical of Nigeria where polithiefcians are honored and revered with extravagant ceremonies while pickpockets are burnt to death.

With due respect to your right of opinion, I like to ask "what problem do you have with the guy's contribution to this thread?. And what is your own contribution?. Mature input in any discussion can never be to counter or condemn another person's opinion / contribution, especially when you are not making any contribution yourself.

But sincerely speaking, the guy (righteousness89) just said the truth. The incidence should be a wake-up call to the king to examine his life and correct his ways.

Such things don't just happen. God just made a major statement of warning to the King and I pray he gets it and correct his ways with this new chance he's got.

Please read Daniel 4:1-37 and see the correlation between the Oba of Lagos scenario with the Biblical Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon
