We refer to your application for the position of Desktop Support Analyst with Chevron Nigeria Limited, and wish to invite you for Skills Test scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: Wednesday March 23, 2011
Time: 10.30 am

Please endeavour to be at the venue at least thirty (30) minutes to the commencement of the test.

You are required to come along with this letter and any of the following forms of identification: International Passport, Work ID-Card, Drivers’ License and the Original with Photocopies of your CV and other credentials.

You will be provided with all test materials at the venue but please come with your calculator and ruler.

Pls has anyone gotten any responce from Chevron with respect to the test done this year at Chams , Ikeja?

Its a skills test, its going to be based on d position u applied 4, if u applied 4 desktop analyst, expect computer related questions, network analyst expect networking questions like dt

like @dating said, its a skills test. The questions would be 90% restricted to the position/skill area you were invited for. The other 10% may be with general business ideals questions. . . nothing too tough. Typically between 12 -15 question in 1hr30min.

As dating and Maleeq have stated, it's based on the position applied for. I took 30 questions for 1h30mins. For a friend, it was 20questions for 1h30mins. All questions are theory questions based on what you applied for.

@xmen, what position did you apply for? and when did you write your skill test?

Yes the questions are mainly theory.

i did that too. very tough geological questions for those of us from a non oil background. the Unix and SQL was a breeze though
