Correct. But not granting them access doesn't necessarily imply they are hiding anything inside the mortuary. Military will always want orders from the required authorities before granting civilians or other institutions such access

The military must have something to hide, otherwise, why should they prevent panel members from going to their mortuary

The manner the media and civilians carelessly bash the military online without bothering to check further and realise that there are more to every stories is alarming and demoralising. Remove the military and see Nigerian streets becoming extremely intolerable and the terrorist migrating straight to our door mouths. Let's change our mindsets about the military. A SET-MIND is not good I'm judgement. The question is "Was the military hospital informed before they stormed the place?" So disrespectful to the military even.

Do you have any skeletons in your cupboard or what exactly ?

Even if it was just one (1) youth that was killed
It is a very BIG issue for some of us with brains and souls,
If it was 7 youths as it was reported by the genuine protesters at Lekki, it is still so sad,
and if it was 78 or 100 youths as it was circulated all over social media,
We deserve to know the whole truth as a nation.
So we can know how to table our matter to the international community.
We want to know what is true and what are lies.
We dont want to accept any lies from the Army and at thes ame time, We don't need some people (celebrities et al) fueling fake news on this heated country now.
We are not fighting against Nigeria,
We are fighting for Nigeria.
#IStandWithTheTruth
Some Nigerians are waiting for what is the truth.
#IStandWithAPeacefulProtest.

Again,
We are not fighting against Nigeria,
We are fighting for Nigeria.

Conscience is an open wound. Only the truth can heal it.

The Good people of Nigeria deserve to know the WHOLE TRUTH of this Lekki issue now.
Heads must roll!

Up till now, many Good Nigerian citizens with an open mind still don't know what to believe.........still!
At the bolded, I never knew you were in possession of any of those. I DIDN'T AWARE. I'LL NEED TO BORROW YOUR MASTER'S SHOCK ABSORBER

In a democracy the military isn’t above the law and should respect the law and constitutional powers.

This is an authorized investigation that requires no long hours of formal notice because of its nature. All the military needs to do is verify and comply. I believe.

Bunch of confused miscreants. Awon oloriburuku masanfani

First they said it was photoshop then they denied being there then they agreed they were there on the instruction of the state government but you did not shoot at the protesters then the narrative changed that indeed they shot at them but they used blank ammunition..
*which they are ignorant of the fact that blank bullets can kill*

Now they are denying panel from accessing their morgue.. What are they hiding?

I hope by the time they will allow them in they no go don hide the bodies cos if their hands are clean they would have alowed them.
Re: Soldiers Stop Lagos Judicial Panel From Accessing Military Mortuary by pacespot(m): 3:34pm On Oct 30, 2020
Nigerians, una never see anything, wake up! Until the order comes from above or the north, they will not allow them in. We are living in a colonized country right now, the northerners see this country as their colony. We need a referendum urgently to determine if this country will continue to exist or everyone go their separate way.

So it begins, I love the fact that the head of the panel kept this movement secret till they got to the military hospital.

Nothing can justify the fact that UNARMED PROTESTERS where shot at, key word UNARMED.

By the time they are back the army would have taken the bodies out.

Yet nairaland idiots are here claiming the shooting never happened. What are they hiding?

There's a bloody murder investigation going on and they are impeding it.

Terrorists have already been at the doorsteps of people in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Plateau and Kaduna.

You seem to think the aversion to the military exists in a vacuum but ignore the various assaults on civilians, killings and overall disregard for the law that permeates the institution.

If the military changes people will love them, you can't give people slaps and expect love in return.

Some fools will come in and say it wasn't massacre that happened at lekki.
But just shooting....
What leads to massacre if not shooting..

They keep on deceiving themselves thinking that they're fighting for us, it takes them less than 48hours to fish out the hoodlums who vandalized govt properties but takes them eternity to find out who order the shooting at toll gate...... God is watching

I heard their main purpose of being at oyigbo is to ransack the place and retrieve all the AK-47's stollen by ipob in the raided police stations, they are so serious about disarming the people so that they can go about their shooting spree unabated. The military treads with caution if the hoodlums are armed with weapons but they are very quick to shoot at unarmed protestors. If anybody has a weapon with them, they better hold on to it right now coz that might be their only means of survival in this sh*thole called Nigeria.

The manner in which the military also treats civilians is stupid, why violate people's right like they are not humans? If the military is tired of doing their job, they should drop their boots and walk away, civilians will adapt to protecting their lives.
