Honestly, I am beginning to think that these herders and their sponsors are using very powerful voodoo on Nigerians. They keep murdering people in cold blood, raping women (including old and pregnant women), destroying crops, and scaring farmers away from their farms. But everyone is afraid to say it when there should have been nationwide protests against it. The UNO keeps mum about it. The mainstream media keeps misleading the public by calling the serial murders by Fulani herders by the name 'herder-farmers clash'. I have been asking to be shown where the clashes have been taking place but no one has shown me that. If not for social media, all of us would have been deceived into thinking that these are cases of crop farmers and herders clashing. Even during the #EndSARS protests, there weren't placards about it. Why? Below is a September 2020 report from Nairametrics detailing the cause of the current food crisis being faced across Africa, showing that Nigeria is billed to be one of the worst-hit countries. Notice how this report carefully avoided mentioning Fulani herders as even contributors to this crisis when they are actually the MAJOR CAUSE OF IT by the way they destroy crops, thereby discouraging farmers from investing more. The report from the FAO also shows that the Democratic Republic of Congo is emerging as the country with the world’s largest food crisis in terms of absolute numbers, with Burkina Faso listed as the country with the worst deteriorations in acute hunger in recent months.. https://nairametrics.com/2020/09/18/nigeria-among-countries-to-be-worst-hit-by-food-crisis-globally/ |
