Petrol prices will keep on going up, even more when joe biden becomes president, he plans on cutting federal funds to oil companies, oil companies are packing up and going to cleaner energy, Now our biggest exporter of oil is America, we need to understand that the politics behind this. The world is talking about climate change, shifting away from petrol, we are still using petrol in Nigeria, we only need half of the petrol we consume, Nigeria should move into renewable energy with solar panels, so we can solve this electricity issue once and for all, all this carbon emissions are bad and dangerous for our health, and its destroying our environment, You can imagine the amount of carbon that goes into the air from all those generators in Nigeria. we should only need petrol for vehicles in this modern age, which vehicles are going eletric . Look at morocco and Egypt have all built power banks to supply energy to households, we are still thinking backwards. with the minerals we have Nigeria can go into battery production to sustain our energy consumption. |

Okoroawusa:No sir. Not alaye repete. Just showing you the (in)sincerity of the govt you support. What is at play here is the real cabal we've been talking about. From IPMAN to MOMAN to NLC, no one has complained instead they're supporting the fraudulent subsidy removal. Subsidy removal where NNPC still remains the sole importer and ppmc is still actively deciding prices while we still pay an administrative tax and equalisation tax? Mbanu I believe you know better. NNPC is going to concession the refineries? After five years of running at a loss? Alaye, reason e now. Which should come first for any sincere govt? Deregulation or refinery fixing. The answer shows you who is playing who and why the cabals are rejoicing. You should rethink your love for PMB and love your pocket instead. Or are they intertwined |

PhiliptheArab: First, that's a lie. It was actually David Tom West, a staunch supporter of Buhari, who proposed fuel price at 40# per litre. No GEJ supporter backed such. Second, GEJ actually deregulated but so-called intellectwats including Tolu Ogunlesi in 2011/12 staged a protest at Ojota demanding that subsidy be returned. If the deregulation was successful, no one will face current issues. Y'all wanted a reformed democrat Mr Bushdoc. Enjoy what you deserve! 2 Likes 1 Share |

No more fuel subsidy. Why are Nigerians complaining? Expect further increase in PMS price if crude oil price rises further above $43. Not sure anything will change with DG Refinery. |

Katlyst:Bizarre thing about this thread is, several folks here claim they supported and still support subsidy removal, but somehow they think its Buhari's fault that petrol prices are now going up. Cant really tell if its illiteracy or ignorance or just sentiments. |
