Regene2020:
shut up your taqiya mouth.

Cigarette/hemp that even kids take in the north is more harmful to the kidney/liver than alcohol.

Tramadol which is water in the north gives a persistent intoxicated and energetic state than alcohol.

If people have rights to choose cigarettes despite the makers warning then they should have rights to choose alcohol or not.

It is not your health, the north that has less alcohol intake has more intoxicated bandits, terrorist, peadophiles, almajiris

Okay....good evening.

CSTRR:

Common sense is not common.

Let me break it down for you again.

Nigeria is a secular state, which supposedly guarantee the right of PEOPLE to practice their religion and lack of religion aa the case may be.

An atheist cannot force his lack of religion on a religious person , neither can a religious people force their religion on others.

That's what it means to be secular. That's what the constitution supposedly guarantee.

If you force your Islamic beliefs on non religious people in the north and ban the sale of alcohol to people who have no problem with it, you have flouted their rights.

It's not different from Wike waking up tomorrow and closing all the mosques because it annoys some Christians in the state.

Now, if the constitution protects the rights of Muslims to eat and drink what they want anywhere, but does not do the same for non religious PEOPLE or atheists or even liberal christians, then It is no longer secular.
It's now a theocratic constitution.

And the Nigerian constitution was meant to be secular.
It's just a failure of government and the judiciary that has hampered their total enforcement.

This is simple, but your fanaticism will not make you see it.

You are exposing your ignorance and knack for intellectual laziness.

Nigeria is a multi religious state because the constitution RECOGNISES GOD and NOT SECULAR as many of your ilk erroneously continue to claim - if not then please show me where it expressly states so.

Secondly, the constitution does guarantee anyone the freedom to eat and drink anything he/she wishes, as you yet again mistakenly assume; states can and often do prohibit consumption of certain things e.g. hard drugs, human flesh etc including alcohol - I even gave you example of FG's ban of ogogoro.

Lastly, alcohol is not mandatory i.e. sine qua non for any religious practice; therefore banning it is not an infringement on anybody's right to religion - kindly therefore stop making up illogical assumptions as factual truth.
