Hope you all can see how government can accuse anyone. Yet some people with little sense will support any action by government without any form of critical thinking just because of hatred they have towards a tribe. They should continue.

it is an offense if you did not present your father to replace him in a democratic way.

The call for Buhari's removal is the beginning of wisdom of today's Nigeria. Buhari is a terrible disaster that must be thrown out of Aso rock by all means.

So, the only evidence you have about regime change is a poster asking the president to resign?

You are a disgrace to those who gave life to a rat like you.

Racoon:

Did the present president followed this process when he leagued with co-conspirators in Dec.1983 to remove the democratically elected government of President Shagari via a military coup?

What was his intent when he was threatening with inflammatory statements prior to 2015? What about Amaechi's threat of forming a parallel government if his party loose the 2015 election?

-“Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.” - Martin Luther King Jr.
-"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion" - Albert Camus.
-“Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it.” ― Mark Twain.
-“A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.” - Edward Abbey.

I was part of June 12 1993 riots to ensure MKO Abiola's mandate is restored against all odds because the tyrannical government of Abacha which the current president was part of then is not and will never listen to any constitutional provisions let alone acknowledged any human rights. So stop defending evil.

You are wasting your time trying to educate seunmsg.

He is too daft to know that there is a difference between patriotism and support for a ruling party. His tiny Brain is too mediaeval to separate the two.

He is too blinded by stupid things like religion and tribalism for him to have sense.

He is a chronic zombie with no honor or dignity, an entity with empty life and empty head.

As a chronic zombie, his reasoning is always upside down. In fact, he is a disgrace to the human race.

He can report me to mod, I don't care. Ban is made for man.

They started with end sars. The President obliged and ended sars then they brought 5 demands.

Then they came with 5 demands. The President agreed to the 5 demands and even started implementing some.

Then they said end sars was only a metaphor and that they were protesting against bad governance, and then some of them said what they wanted actually was end buhari.

They continued in the streets, sometimes blocking roads and preventing those who were not interested in joining the protests, from having access to the roads.

The Nigerian media called all of these a "peaceful protest"

The entire Nigeria media/celebrities/ popular figures didn't have the guts to call the protest for what it was, out of desperation to be seen to "be on the side of the poeple",

Mostly for business gains.

In conclusion there were 3 major groups of people in the crowds during the end sars protests;

1. Those who actually sought a genuine end to sars and police brutality.

2. Those who were sponsored by opposition politicians and anti-Buhari elements to destabilize the country even if for a few weeks.

3. Thugs hired by Government personalities to create anarchy within the crowds thereby giving Government the impetus to disperse the protesters.

Have you asked yourself why the SSS or police has not arrested any "sponsor from opposition politicians and anti-buhari elements"? Is it because there are no such sponsors?

I don't have any problem protesting and blocking the road in order to force the hand of the government.

But just desist from deceiving the world and calling it "peaceful" protest.

Once you block the roads it is no longer peaceful and you must be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Aaah, this country no go better at all o
Na so we go remain below average for a long time

So the IG saw nothing wrong with govt choosing to deploy thugs over policemen to disperse peaceful protesters.

His men actually looked the other way while these thugs & hoodlums reigned. Instead, they killed protesters in Ogbomosho and Surulere. The Nigerian army also launched an exercise against peaceful protesters when their priority should have been the thugs and hoodlums, as well as bandits and Boko Haram terrorists elsewhere.

Sadly, the situation degenerated into a mob action and the police itself became a victim. At the end, policemen were killed, criminals escaped from custody while arms got into bad hands. These situations are enough for the IG to resign. Likewise, a president should quit when it gets bad to the extent that his speeches have to be pre-recorded and his service chiefs are no longer accountable to him, among other flaws.
