Why doesn't oga always speak? Why us it only special adviser that speaks? Other countries Oga would have spoken addressing the situation and steps taken to curtail this sort of things.
Its a pity though the level of insecurity experienced in Nigeria. May their hardworking souls rest in peace.

Alright guys.. If you were part of the Presidency, what's at least your solution to this matter..

We been castigating..let's profer solutions cus it's obvious the presidency sleeper cell are on NL.. lest at least they can take small inspiration from us..

My take is 1st and foremost making sure the head of the police in any state is from that state..

Yes it sounds like restructuring because it actually is

But if that's not to be..

How bout we put more financial and physical resources into developing security agents that at least not only have an OND minimum but will also undergo psychological training amongst many..

What's yours?

I think the way Boko Haram issue is being handled is a bigger problem than even the activities of Boko Haram. Why can't these Boko Haram animals be starved of funding and the soldiers kill them off?

Punchng: “The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has condemned the killing of farmworkers in Borno State.”

I condemn the killing of these farmers. There is no justification by those who committed this inhumane crime.

The bottom line is President Buhari has not taken Boko Harm seriously as most Nigerians thought when he got elected in 2015 and that has emboldened Boko Haram to return to its killing fields.

I say, bring back former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
In an article title “President Buhari’s to-do list: Boko Haram, democracy and the petrocalypse” Guardian Africa Network listed three reasons why President Buhari was elected in 2015.

First, after President Jonathan success in recapturing territories once lost to Boko Haram, western countries thought President Buhari was the only one who would take advantage of the new success the military had achieved and crushed Boko Haram.

Second, Mohammed Buhari was ex-military man and that would earn him respect among Nigerian armed forces to work to destroy Boko Harm; that Boko Harm has prospered under Goodluck Jonathan because he is from the south and a Christian; and because Mohammed Buhari is from the North and a Muslim, somehow, Boko Haram would cease its criminal actives.

Third, that Mohammed Buhari heavy-handed might be what Nigeria needed to bring Boko Haram to an end.

So, and as you can see above reasons why western countries rushed to embrace Buhari presidency over Goodluck Jonathan, which of them has come to fruition?

I would argue, not a single one is correct
Since President Goodluck Jonathan presidency ended in 2015, Boko Haram menace has gotten worst. According to BBCnews, Boko Haram has killed over 40,000 Nigerians in the past 10 years and drove away estimated 4 million Nigerians away from their homes.

Boko Haram does not fear Mohammed Buhari like they feared Goodluck Jonathan. Boko Haram was destroyed in the last two months president Jonathan was in power. They lost their territories and most of them were either captured or killed.

Under Buhari’s Presidency, Boko Haram has prospered. They have recaptured territories once lost under Jonathan presidency. New success by Boko Haram has allowed them to kill more people and millions of Nigerians are at risk of getting killed in the next few months if Buhari remained in power.

That is why I am calling for President Goodluck Jonathan return to power. It would allow Nigerians to regain confidence that has been lost under Buhari leadership and return the country to normalcy.
