Time to kill this Presidential and Gubernatorial system. Let the Community Development Centres take control of their allocations.

It seems you are benefiting from this messed system of goverment. Have you checked the amount of money being spent in running government and its agencies? They keep buying latest models of operational vehicles and majority of those agencies don't generate revenue for the government. If the government tax the citizens they will use the proceeds from those tax to support their lavish life style and also use it during election period. Most of those people in government are criminals, thugs and heartless individuals who don't care about the citizens. Very wicked set of people.
Don’t mind the fellow , he is just talking for talking sake

Sir I know we must cut cost of governance but for me that's not the problem

Effective taxing system can easily give Nigeria $100 billion a year from tax

By barely looking at banks published revenue and profit ...I was able to see Nigeria is short changed by banks to the tune of over 1 trillion naira year ...

Not to talk about the oil sector .

Or transport sector

Effective taxing is the key sir

If there is one person APC should get at all costs, it is Peter Obi.

He is better than all the impractical nice-sounding clowns in their party.

He is the only thing giving the PDP some form of credibility.

Though he is probably too expensive for the APC in the transfer market.

Oga don't suggest anything....
They don't want to know...
They are only looking out for the politics in everything...
Even if you like bring to them the solution to Nigeria problems, they will first consider tribe, religion, et all...
Nigerians don't deserve good.

A viral video which has been spotted by our outfit captures the moment an African woman was caught in a local shop stealing a bottle of palm oil after she has already purchased 2.

In the viral video, you could see the woman leaving the shop but was quickly stopped by someone we presume to be the shop owner who was also accompanied by one other man. Upon questioning, the woman denied claims that she had additional bottle in her bag which she did not pay for

We have start the doable solutions to the hard task. Under the present circumstances a well managed government spending will trigger down to a well managed economy.
The taxing system will stem from a well managed economy.

tax who?
Only in Nigeria people don’t want to pay tax but want everywhere to look like Canada. No progressive country survive and thrive without “effective and accountable” taxation.

You can’t tax a business that is making losses! You can’t tax citizens that are living from hand to mouth. Who will you then tax.

Stupid government, continue giving out loans, if your loans don't have an agenda and it's participants aren't being sufficiently funded, you wouldn't create wealth and your GDP wouldn't grow, what's the point of such social interventions?

You can empower carpenters and farmers at the same time, getting the carpenters to build shops for traders and traders selling goods from government assisted farmers, each industry will grow and soon become independent, creating wealth isn't difficult.

Value added is the key, tomatoes is less valuable than tin tomatoes, who reaps the most benefit for their investment, the farmer or the person that processes the tomatoes into tin tomatoes, in the race for financial growth, value added wins.

This man likes to talk as if he s saying something smart but he really is clueless. He usually gets away with it because most of his audience are as dumb as he is. The problem with Nigeria isnt the cost of governance, the problem is the low tax collection rates. Nigeria shiould be raising taxes of about $100b a year for a GDP of its size, instead it is something in the region of $30B, If the govt had $60-100B a year to spend on infrastructure and services, nobody would focus on cost of government. If you cut cost of governance, at most you will save $500m -$1b a year but we will not see the benefits for years because we would have to pay severance, disengagement costs etc. it is not as easy as it sounds.

This is how govt works you have a govt vehicle you bought for $30m but because you want to cut cost, you decide to sell the car for $5m (nobody pays top prices for govt assets) and in 2 years you realise you need to buy a car for $40m so you are back to square one. Or should we look at govt houses which were sold in the name of cutting costs but instead we are now paying humongous allowances to maintain the same houses which were sold to public office holders....did we really save anything?
