Ban On The Importation Of Loaded Vehicles From Europe by Bettycars(m): 2:45am On Dec 02, 2020 |
In view of the recent directives given by Grimaldi and Sallaum lines that they would no longer accept shipping of loaded vehicles to Africa especially from Hamburg and Antwerp, can any one especially importers suggest other ports or shipping lines that still accepts loaded used vehicles for shipping to Africa? The motive behind this directive is that most Africans abroad ship down electronic waste down to Africa. While that may be true, most of the items loaded are still useful like used clothes, bags, toys, car parts etc. and it is going to affect negatively businesses that thrive on used items 1 Like 1 Share |

sultaan:How many can afford to buy brand new items especially with the current exchange rate? Not every second hand item is trash. If you don’t there are numerous second hand markets also in many parts of the developed countries. Many women or households make a living from the sales of secondhand items and trust me, these loaded vehicles have been the most common way of sending items overseas. Not everyone can afford a container. Even the car you drive is trash 2 Likes |
