USA minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

A 9 to 5 job means 8 hours per each work day.

8 * $7.25 = $58

Let's say there are 20 working days in each month.

$58 * 20 = $1,160

This means, an average American can buy:

$1,160 / $200 = 5.8 bags of rice.

This is assuming that a bag of is indeed $200.

Here comes the big question, how many Nigerian can afford this $200 bag of rice? undecided

Is dollar equal to Naira?

A 50kg of rice is not sold for $200. Joe Igbokwe behaves like Liar Mohammed.

That he copied the post shows how foolish he is. He can't even make a research online to verify what he's copying.

Secondly, the minimum wage in USA can comfortably buy more than 10 bags of 50kg rice. Compare that to Nigeria where minimum wage can no longer buy 1 bag of 50kg rice.

Add to that most Americans don't even eat rice.

Shut up is that what you should say?
Someone is telling lies you are calling tribe. Will you feck off?

Where did he bought 50kg rice in US for $200? Let him produce the invoice.

So Umahi too is given to Yoruba? Okorocha and Supreme court governor are given to Yoruba? Onochie too is given to Yoruba?

Why can't you liken the idiot to Hausa or Fulani? So its only Yoruba now that should be insulted as per anything Buhari ba? So when Umahi stood in front of camera last week praising Buhari you damn things changed mouth and said "yea he is right"

Pls don't annoy me this morning ok.

Did fools like you realised till date no Yoruba governor serving or nonserving decamped to that same Buhari party for any reason?

Pls don't annoy me I repeat.

Mumu, your time is up. You are the most useless human being in sub Saharan Africa. So an average Nigerian standard of living is better than that of an American? U don't just need a psychiatrist, you need spiritual deliverance as well.

We love Buhari, food prices are the cheapest they have been in decades.

Honestly I'm starting to feel as if I'm mad because I'm the only one who loves the change we are going through in this country under this great administration.

Minimum wage in Nigeria is 30k monthly.

50kg rice in Nigeria is about 25,000 naira.
30000/25000 = 1.2 bags of rice.

This means an average Nigerian can only afford to buy 1.2 bags of rice while an average American can only afford to buy 5.8bags of rice according to the calculations up there.

Obviously, America is about 5 times better than Nigeria.

But it's true... Rice is costly in US than Nigeria but we can't compare both living conditions.

Even in Japan, rice is more costlier.
But Joe, will you rather live in Nigeria in this state or in US?

The price for 50kg bag of rice is $50 if you go to the African, Caribbean, Chinese etc stores to buy it but it's always on sales or on a discount price if you buy it at a big retail stores.
