Of course you're right.. it's simple logic.

The Europeans, Asians etc. are only interested in Trade related issues in Nigeria cos of their own selfish interests. They don't sponsor any activity or project on industrialization, just Trade and even the f00ls in Trade line see nothing wrong in that. After travelling to Industrialized cities in Europe, collecting government money, they still come back to complain of no jobs, no employment, insecurity etc

Trade can not develop a nation without strong Industrial sector. Blacks need to start thinking. These foreigners don't want us to industrialize or be self-sufficient.

Instead of closing borders to fellow African countries, close our borders to importation from Europe and Asia and see if things won't change.

China that depends on crude oil importation now export refined petroleum products to Nigeria, a net exporter of crude oil and refined petroleum products in the past.

Honestly, those leading us in this country are goats with no shame and no brain. What is NNPC there for, what exactly are they doing?

Hope is going if not already gone for this country. Some cabals don't want anything to work so they can be making money. It's a pity.

WHY IS DANGOTE DELAYING PRODUCTION?WHY IS LIFE SO UNFAIR TO NIGERIA?
The answer to this question may lie in some of the agreements signed on when your government went to collect loan from them

That is why we have to address it now with the resources at our disposal including social media.

They planned it when a large part of the world especially Africa was still in the dark with next to no internet or online forums like NL.

The young ones coming must know the evil being perpetrated by foreigners on blacks and correct the mistake. Enough of the geek gift of visas, bilateral relations etc. while our youths remain jobless with insecurity on the rise.

The focus now should be on industrialization and diversification while Trade should take the back seat. Slave trade is also part of Trade but under a different name which must be discouraged.

Fine, we have been import oil but do we ever have a actionable plan to be self sufficient in producing our own refined oil and may be someday, exporting to other countries?

I am almost afraid to assume that we seem satisfied with the current status quo hence the reason why our refineries remain in shambles.

Honesty, I wish crude oil was never discovered in Nigeria
Truthfully it has been discovered but I want it to dry up.
So that we can have a factory reset.

That's an abberation and a shame on Nigeria being an oil producing country and importing from a non oil producing country. I believe south south leaders are shameless despite the billions they are making from oil. Even if the federal govt does not have the political will to build a functional large capacity refinery can't someone from that area or more team up to build a good independent refinery somewhere. Ofcourse it will be to their advantage. Imagine the enormous petrochemicals we sell out to these foreign countries at zero cost.

Nigeria my country pls wake up
There are no companies in Nigeria that can manufacture Refinery machine or Is related components. For we to achieve that, it's important to have a robust steel and iron industry ( which is lacking). The engineers and techincal expert would be imported from China or the West. Imagine Chinese or the West allowing their citizen to share technical support to build a working refinery that will affect the economy of the nation negatively. Dont you think it's possible to prevent that to happen?
Re: Nigeria Resumes Petrol Import From China by wazobia68: 8:07am On Dec 04, 2020
Cheer up Nigerians
We are getting closer than we think. Before 2023, we should be exporting fuel.
Dangote 650K BPD
BUA 250K BPD
Modular refineries 100k-200k BPD
NNPC Maybe 100k-300k BPD
We will get there. Nobody cursed Nigeria.

We take loan from China
then we buy the parts from China in constructing the trains and other infrastructure we want to build with the loan,
They hire their people and pay them to build it for us.
then the only thing we sell, we still import from China.
Please what or when are we going to sell something to China

Please is this not the definition of STUPIDITY IN TOTALITY

China...A model on how human population can be an asset.

Many people misconstrue the fact that China utilised her human resource for top notch feats and think Nigeria ought to be on the same frequency since it also has the population, although not as much as China. There is a big difference between educated population and non educated population. In terms of cost analysis, investors are more convince to invest in the former because the human cost of training the workforce to conform to the business model and societal ethic is way lesser than the latter.

The average educated Chinese wants to go back to China after acquiring knowledge or experience abroad because he feels more attached culturally and socially to China. The average educated Nigerian wants to leave the country to western world for greener pasture. Until this anomaly is rectified, Nigeria will continuously have an inept population and importation of basic things will continue to thrive.

Hi, you have a lot of points here but I disagree with your stance on education. Africa as a whole is" over educated " if I can put it that way... But after accurring this knowledge, there is never an avenue that student can engage in for physical theory and workshops.
The Chinese take work hectic to highest level and not relying on class room knowledge but craftsmanship.
To cut it all short..China is selling their excess crude oil that's have been accure over time from Africa and selling back to Africans because Electric cars is now the new norm in Europe. Cars are being powered right infront of their houses overnight and you can also power it at the filling stations.
That's means in the next few years petroleum products will be only use for industrial uses and their after it's only 3Rd world countries that will rely heavily on their on product as the world is moving towards sustainable lifestyle.

Have a good day ya all
