[quote author=Rossntti post=97039738] Can you explain to us how it operates? I have seen many posts about the Rail line but none has actually explained the operations. The time they leave Lagos, get to Ibadan or leave Ibadan to Lagos. Do they stop over in Abeokuta and do people board in Abeokuta or disembark there. Where are the stations located? What time does the train leave Lagos or get to Ibadan and vice versa. There should be more to news than just showing us pictures all the time. mods lalasticlala mynd44 seun should take note 7 Likes |

I weep for Africa! There is nothing , nothing whatsoever to celebrate here because in 5 years none of the trains we see there will be functioning and the shiny stations we see will be completely run-down and looking like a shit station and the rail system will be collapsed and we shall be back to square one. You don’t need to be steep in any analytics to come to this conclusion ! We just don’t have what it takes to take this shiny stations and trains beyond 5years ! I’m not playing Nostradamus, just a simple observation of the clueless African! 2 Likes |

udomonday:Best countries start with the on-board system and not coaches. What he was trying to pass across is the kind of embezzlement that is involved on this current rail system is enough to build a modern rail system. I wish visa are easily granted to Nigerians and I will say you should take a trip to Holland, Japan or even China and see their own rail systems. Nice try for Nigeria Government on that, but the construction price is out of this world. 2 Likes |

Orubebe01: I think the train for now is carrying about 50/60% of its passenger capacity obviously due Covid19 protocol which would definitely have impact on the pricing.. It might not have been up to tht if it was operating under normal situation. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Orubebe01: Just visit the station and check the zone your travel falls in. The least is 2500 and on zone 2 there is 600. Just check it out and confirm. 1 Like |

Sammy07: Right! It will look all beautiful at the beginning when everything is still shiny, and becomes very smelly and disgusting a few months down the line. Typical examples are the train stations at Abuja and Kaduna. |
