Too much back and forth, it will be better op involves law enforcement cos this matter won't get solved on nairaland. Truth be told, both the seller and Omicpet no try. 18 Likes |

bdemix:Tbh, you did your own part by ensuring that the phone landed Nigeria and you telling him that the final Destination is Omics Office, that means that your deal already ended when it arrived there. Fault now isn’t on you as you didn’t warebill the goods yourself so basically this is between The Buyer, The shipper and The Bus driver. Having said that, attend to us bossman abeg we dey wait for you on the other side ejor 1 Like |

Points to note 1) omic was not given an address, he was told to send item to ibadan 2) seller told buyer that he is sending item to omic office, item successfully got to omic office, it's buyer that now "begged seller to help him deliver it to ibadan" Please let's all calm down and understand this case 1 Like |

Harryfrosh, I feel bad for you. The vast majority of sellers on NL are scammers and thieves. There are good ones but very few so that I won't be accused of generalising. Whichever way this is resolved, I hope you or anyone else on NL will be careful about the value of things you buy off from people on Nairaland. Two stupid clowns were trying to shut me up earlier but see all the troubles you've put yourself in... 1 Like |

bdemix:Guy why are you doing like this? This is crystal clear now and from the story it clear you are the one lying and hiding here because the buyer's explanation is coherent and he answered every question perfectly inline with his story but your story is washed and you ignore some important question and the questions you answered you are either shooting yourself in the foot or repeating the same thing. Anytime a buyer wants to buy an item that requires shipping you make sure you monitor the item till it's get to him because if he doesn't receive what he bought his money must be refunded, even after it gets to him you must ask if the item is in good condition (that's the last thing an escrow will ask before releasing money) if not he will demand for part refund or full. Your contractual obligation is to make sure he receive his item, that's why market woman always choose a location closer or easier to their buyers; you don't choose a business location without considering your final consumer but if you don't have a comfortable location for your buyer like in your case you either decline his request to buy from you or make sure you deliver the item to him by any means possible failure to do so buying and selling didn't take place. Please refund that young man and hold your shipping company accountable because you pay them to deliver to Ibadan not send to Ibadan which they failed to do and they can also hold the driver because they paid him to take an item to Ibadan which he failed to do (his robbery is his personal problem but they can tamper justice with mercy for him IF they so wish). Lemme tell you my experience with AliExpress on October: I ordered for a phone screen but did not get it till 90 days of expected shipping lapse and I call for my refund which they did the second day, after 10 days I received a call from post office that I have a parcel to collect lo and behold when I get there I was given the screen; when I get home I messaged the seller to at least let him know and if possible send him his money but unfortunately for him he did not reply my message. So that tells you despite the seller using normal AliExpress standard shipping and follow all the procedure but when I fail to get my item in the stipulated time my money was refunded full; so it's very easy the buyer does nothing wrong or can you point out one thing the buyer do wrong? So refund his money. 13 Likes |

bobo65:let assume you believed what he told you... but ask him if the message is for him... i wont agreed on such delivery and sent my details and i dont have any reason to sent 4k for such delivery |
Re: Note 20 Ultra Lost by emeraldknytt(m): 8:43am On Dec 17, 2020 |
bobo65:Agreed. However, I do not understand why Omic Logistics would pay for a late-night delivery? Wouldn't it have been better if the dispatch had been delayed till daybreak? Regarding the second point, The buyer pleaded with and paid for home delivery. Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well. Bdemix messed up by sending the item to just Ibadan especially when the buyer had informed him of his residency status and had sent him a Text message with his full address. O wrong nau. 13 Likes |

Harryfrosh: Brother u sent the msg to bdemix not Omicpet The msg Omicpet received was to send item to ibadan not a given address, that's what I'm saying |
Re: Note 20 Ultra Lost by fibonacci2526: 8:48am On Dec 17, 2020 |
bobo65: 1. The seller told omic to send to Ibadan as seen from the chat uploaded, what time was the item sent cos the chat between omic and the seller was around 12.30ish. 2. Since the seller has agreed to assist the buyer to help with waybill, it doesn't matter if the buyer begged him to do so. 16 Likes |

emeraldknytt: Brother if you are into phone business, ull understand that this time thing is not something u can bank on. I once sent an item to a driver, he put agberos inside his bus, he told me it remained like two ppl, this was like 11am, this driver no move till like 3pm, there was mad hold up, he said he got to ibadan by 12am, my buyer picked up the next day. See truth is let's leave blame aside, that's why I said buyer should come on whatsapp let's reach a conclusion |
Re: Note 20 Ultra Lost by bobo65(m): 8:53am On Dec 17, 2020 |
fibonacci2526: I said point 2 so we could reduce the harshness of the tone we are using to address the issue. If all things went as it's meant to, buyer would have looked for how to get it to himself, let's say he sent a relative to pick at omic office and the relative sent the item and d driver was robbed, who would buyer blame? Please let's all calm down so the case can be handled amicably |

bobo65:You are just trying to find excuse for the seller 1. Omic was not given any address, so is he sending the item to Mokola bridge or cocoa house because as a logistics company they claim he is didn't he suppose to get in contact with the person he is delivering the item to? either by phone call or message or mail anyone. He just receive the item going to Ibadan and send straight to Ibadan without the receiver of the item awareness. 2. How do you know this is true? It is after the item gets to Omic office that the buyer now started begging for the item to be delivered to Ibadan, in that case what is the item going to do at Omic office in the first place then? to take a nap Abi. And you as a seller is it after the logistics company receive your item to send that you will say you have successfully or completely sell an item or when the buyer receive it? 18 Likes |

Re: Note 20 Ultra Lost by OVA200(m): 9:10am On Dec 17, 2020 |
bobo65:Oga nothing to re-read jor. Omic should at least reach out to the person he is sending an item to immediately after shipment but since he is using a third party (the driver) he should establish communication at the point of shipment; so he is at fault for this. You said the seller told the buyer Omic office is his last destination and the buyer now started begin him to help him send it to Ibadan and I ask you what is the item doing at Omic office in the first place? Is he the buyer? The item should be with the seller not Omic before the buyer will beg him to send it at all now. Answer my last paragraph you said made sense now. 6 Likes |

This situation is really terrible and heart wrenching. I'm not done reading but let me just drop this here. A few years back, I paid Noobody for an AIN Lenovo k5 Pro. The phone was taking too long to arrive and after expressing my concerns he informed me that the item was lost in transit. He also told me that he'll go to the company (GIG) to go about getting the money back. I really don't know how he went about it till date, but he's the one who refunded my money and I doubt they had paid him for the loss then. My points are: That the seller cannot wash his hands off this situation as it seems he is trying to. No matter how you look at this, the seller will go about the refund process or recovery of the money from Omicpet if he(seller) didn't default on agreement. As a matter of fact, logistics company(Omicpet logistics) and seller should liaise on how to compensate buyer. Not all these subtle hand-washing that seem to be going on here 22 Likes |
Re: Note 20 Ultra Lost by selfmadeOLX(m): 9:17am On Dec 17, 2020 |
Here is my verdict reading from all 3 sides; Buyer paid for item Seller confirmed and “used his preferred logistics company” to move item to buyer’s location Logistics company used their preferred waybill method (options were not made available to buyer) ITEM MISSING IN TRANSIT! Buyer has no business with logistics company and/or waybill courier Seller should refund or replace item Seller should meet “his preferred logistics company” while they both put heads together to investigate the outcome and possible solution.
