TOPIC: THE FROG THAT JUMPED TOO LATE! JUMP NOW!

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
GALATIANS 2: 18-21; ROMANS 6:1-2, 23

I once heard a story about how a frog was placed in a bowl of water and this bowl was placed on a burning gas cooker. The water got hot and the frog adapted to the hot water. FROGS KNOW HOW TO ADAPT TO DIFFERENT LEVELS OF NON-DEADLY TEMPERATURES.

AS the story goes, the water gradually became hotter and instead of the frog to jump out of the heating water, the frog adapted to it. The water became yet hotter and rather than jump out of the water, the frog adapted to it yet again. The water got to boiling point and began to boil.

At that point, the frog decided to jump out of the boiling water. But it was too late! The muscles of the legs with which the frog wanted to jump out of the boiling water had gotten cooked by the boiling water. So the frog was paralyzed in the boiling water and it eventually died in it.

Just like the frog took the heating water for granted and stayed in it because it could adapt, many believers take sin for granted because they think that the grace of God abounds much more where sin abounds. That is true but never forget that THE GRACE OF GOD CAN BE FRUSTRATED! Yes! You can frustrate God and His plans for you by your CARELESS LIFESTYLE! The summary of SAMSON’s biography can be summarized thus: HE JUMPED TOO LATE!

Romans 6: 1 asks: “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” DELIBERATE SIN WILL BE PUNISHED! See Numbers 32:23 – “But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.”Yes! Your sin will find you out MEANS YOUR SINS WILL DISGRACE AND DEMOTE YOU AT LAST!

TOPIC: THE GENERAL AND THE ANT!

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
2 TIMOTHY 2: 1-7;
SONGS OF SOLOMON: 2:15

Once upon a time, there was a very strong soldier. He had never lost a battle! He was known to be a sharp shooter and had never missed his target before under any command mission. In fact, he rose to the rank of a Major General. One day, he dressed up for war as usual. After a walk for hours with his troops, he gave an order for them to rest under a tree.

Few minutes later, he started feeling something walking inside his uniform. Later he discovered that it was just a “little” stubborn “ANT.” The very thing he did was to throw away his gun just as many of his troops did. In less than an hour, he had undressed himself totally. He removed the bulletproof, the helmet, the shoes, up to his pants. A mighty Major General? Yes!

Was he MAD? No! While he was trying to escape from the ant, something very fatal happened… the enemy forces met them there and gunned down many including the Major General. He died naked and without his weapons. Ah! A Major General died like an ordinary civilian because of an ordinary tiny microscopic ant. The Holy Ghost wants you to know that IT IS THE LITTLE FOXES (ants) that can SPOIL THE VINE (today’s 2nd scripture).

It is little habits that spoil destinies! The “ant” around your life, family and ministry can be that secret/silent sin – that small lie, ordinary anger, little pride, lust, little falsification of records in your office, exaggeration of stories, the “I only pecked, but I did not fornicate” kind of habits, ordinary malice, common sex, just small stealing, etc.

TOPIC: VACATION IN SPACE! YES! HOME IS NEAR!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: JOHN 14:1-6;

A hotel in space sounds like something out of a Star Wars film, but one company is looking to make it a reality by 2030. Space construction company – The Gateway Foundation, has shared a sneak peek video with designs of what guests could expect from the hotel, and it’s pretty impressive.

We’re talking about luxurious bedrooms (with views of outer space of course), restaurants, a gym and even a space where guests can enjoy live events such as sports and concerts. Wow! Now popularly called the “Voyager Station,” it’s definitely a stay that looks out of this world.

There will be large lounge bars with loads of seats and a viewing area where you can look out to outer space and the Earth below, as well as a restaurant serving up gourmet dishes in addition. The hotel rooms will have everything you would expect from a luxury hotel including double beds, en suite bathrooms and windows also offering space views.

The station is divided into 24 ‘pods’, each of which will have a dedicated function such as hotel rooms, food (restaurant and the kitchens), live events and some that are for the station’s functionalities such as air, water and power. There will even be luxury holiday villas which can be bought for those feeling particularly enthusiastic! Ummh! OWNING A
PERMANENT HOME IN SPACE?

The giant structure (STATION) will
rotate to generate artificial gravity, so guests will be able to walk as normal, while facilities such as toilets and showers should work in the same way as they would on Earth. Construction for the new hotel is planned to start within the next few years, with plans to open by the end of the decade.

And what the Holy Ghost wants you to know is that as men are planning to travel to SPACE for a vacation, you MUST never forget that the LORD JESUS CHRIST has gone ahead to PREPARE A PLACE that eyes have not seen nor ears even heard of. He has gone to prepare a place that no scientist can fathom and no architect can design.

It is not given to man to comprehend it. It is a place of UNSPEAKABLE VACATION and FOREVER BLISS. It is not a place that is subject to the force of gravity or any scientific phenomenon. TOPIC: THEY BROKE INTO HER SECURED ESTATE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PSALM 124: 1-8

Two intruders sparked a major security Scare when they broke into the Queen’s WELL-SECURED Estate in Windsor, United Kingdom. It is said that the suspects, a 31 year-old man and his 29 year-old girlfriend, scaled the fences at the Royal Lodge close to where the 95 year-old monarch goes for walks With her corgis and rides horses.

The suspects were reportedly arrested in the lodge grounds, which include the All Saints Chapel where the Queen attends Sunday service, as well as her son Prince Andrew’s home. Security was said to be on “high alert” at the time, as just days earlier a woman was allegedly mistakenly allowed into the lodge grounds by guards.

Wow! Allowed by guards by mistake! The
Holy Ghost wants you to know that YOUR ONLY SECURED AND TRUSTED SECURITY IS
HEAVEN! Men (the police, navy, Air Force, army, etc), CAN MAKE MISTAKES! They are human! In fact, in the case of the female intruder, it is said that she entered the Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew, 61, was home and was stopped by a member of staff.

The summary of the two seious security breaches around the Queen as released by palace sources was: “THIS IS AN ASTONISHING LAPSE. EVERYONE WAS ON HIGH ALERT AFTER THE FIRST INTRUDER, NOW THIS HAPPENS. HEADS COULD ROLL. IT IS UNFORGIVABLE.” Do you know that the couple wandered around for “ages” in that palace before anyone spotted them and the police were called? Truly, only God is the ULTIMATE SECURITY!

He IS A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE! Zech 2: 5 says: “For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.” Did you get that? Vs 6 of today’s scripture opened my eyes to the secret of DOING EXPLOITS in the KINGDOM! See it: “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Note the words: “When thou hast shut thy door.”
The emphasis is on SHUTTING YOUR DOORS! It means one of the secrets of seeing great and mighty doors open to you is to shut the physical doors! It is only when your physical doors are shut that your spiritual doors open. And it is the spiritual doors that contain all physical, material, financial and emotional prosperity.

If you want to see MORE OF PHYSTCAL PROSPERITY, learn to KNOW WHEN TO SHUT THE DOOR TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD and activities.

Today’s devotional scripture, Verse 21, says “Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto

TOPIC: MY SUN IS RISING AGAIN! RES JUDICATA!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: ISAIAH 43: 16-19; MALACHI 4: 1-3

Welcome to my LAW SCHOOL TODAY! I am led to remind you again of the principle of Res Judicata (RJ, also known as Claim Preclusion), which is the Latin term for “A matter that has been adjudicated on its merits by a competent court may not be pursued further by the same parties.”

Also, it means a case in which there has been a final judgment and is no longer subject to appeal. It also means that LITIGATION (a court case) cannot go on forever! It must have an end! In the same vein, there is the spiritual dimension of Res Judicata which was once written in this devotional. I am led to repeat it for the sake of someone I don’t know!

Listen: Jesus Christ has concluded your case on the cross of Calvary when He said, “IT IS FINISHED.” Jesus atonement for sin and for man’s justification, freedom and restoration was once and for all and there has been no need for another atonement, and the devil cannot appeal it in any spiritual court! Res Judicata: YOUR CASE WAS DECIDED AND CONCLUDED ON THE CROSS!

The Lord is showing me people who are FEELING GUILTY CONCERNING THEIR PAST ACTIONS, MISTAKES, DECISIONS OR FAILURES, etc. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that, no matter how your life and the year has been, your destiny has been concluded and there is nothing the devil can do about it unless you give him the power. FORGET THE PAST!

Scream: RES JUDICATA to the devil every day! The LORD says: I SHALL DO A NEW THING because I have given you another chance (Isaiah 43:19)! Oh, I feel like dancing! He is the God of ANOTHER CHANCE!

THE ANOINTING IS NOT LIKE A CAR THAT YOU START AND YOU ZOOM OFF! NO! You MUST CREATE THE ATMOSPHERE FOR YOUR GOD TO MOVE! As anointed as ELISHA was, he could not minister in a disturbed environment. Verse 10 of today’s 2nd scripture says, “And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man, “Stretch forth thy hand.’ And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” You can have a physically healthy and good looking hand, but meanwhile, it is dry and withered spiritually.

Those who suffer from a withered hand hardly have anything to show for the labour of their hands. Nothing ever stays or lasts in their hands. When your hand is withered, you will struggle to break even in what you do. But I decree: In this second half of the year, grace is coming for you. Life and vitality is coming back to your hand. Yes! Supernatural strength is locating your hands for productive living this season. Ah!

Whatever you lay your hands to do shall prosper. The words, WITHERED HANDS” shall be far from your life and ministry! In the medical world, when there is no blood flow in your hand, it can lead to withered hands and stroke. So you need the Blood of Jesus Christ to flow through your hands for LIFE THAT PRODUCES TESTIMONIES.

TOPIC: SHE LOOKED FOR GRANDMA!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 17:1-8

There is a story of a woman who was always going to the sea to catch fish anytime she wanted to cook fish for her family. Her daughter noticed that whenever she brought the fish home, she would cut the fish into two, and throw away a small part.

The daughter asked to know why. The mother was caught by surprise. She could not answer. She told her daughter, “That’s how mother used to prepare her fish.” A couple of days later, that little girl had the opportunity to go to her grandma’s house and the first question she asked was, “Why do you cut the fish into two and throw away one part?”

Grandma too could not answer. All she said was, “That’s how my mother used to prepare her fish…” Fortunately for the little girl, great grandma was still alive. She begged mummy to take her there. She wanted answers to her question. Listen: A Life Of No Boundaries Begins With Seeking The Right Answers.

Great grandma was old and feeble and she had to strain her ears to hear the little girl’s question. She told her, “I had a small pot and usually cut the fish so that it would be able to enter my pot.” Somehow, this practice passed on to the grandmother and to the mother of this little girl, even though their own pots were big enough to hold the entire fish. Wow!

They were limited in their thinking, until this little girl asked a question. Who says that you cannot be blessed? Who says that you cannot be more successful than the people who have gone ahead of you? If there is no one in your family who has broken the million naira barrier, who says that you can’t?

It is time to break those limitations and boundaries and reach out for all that God has in store for you. The kind of victorious life that God has prepared for us as His children is a life that is without limits and boundaries. For most believers, it is hard to imagine this kind of life. The experiences of the past are so strong in their minds that they FORGET THAT THE GOD YOU SERVE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

Why is He called “ALMIGHTY” (EL-SHADDAI)? The full breasted One (Gen 17: 1)? He is ENOUGH! He is ALL-SUFFICIENT! He is ABLE! He cannot be LIMITED and you cannot be LIMITED because YOUR BEST IS YET TO COME! Look up to HIM and resist every SATANIC BOUNDARY!

Just think of a village where they rely solely on a nearby stream for their water. The stream never runs dry! People will go to that village stream with all sorts of containers. Some with a cup, some with a small bowl, some with a large bucket and some others with a big drum. The stream will never say, “Your container is too big, I am not giving you more than this…

No! The container that you bring to the stream is what determines what you will leave the stream with! God is no different. If you approach God with a bowl-sized’ expectation, you may never get more than a bowl of blessings. If you approach him with a “large tank-size” expectation, He will definitely not turn you back. This means that God will give and give and give until you are tired of receiving. He will never turn off His tap of blessings on you as long as your switch of expectation is turned on! God never created anybody to endure life. It has always been the hunger of God’s heart to see His people enjoy the best of life (today’s scripture). Jesus made it clear when He taught the people, “I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly…” Ecclesiastes 2: 24 shows that it is God’s desire for
“a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour.” Unfortunately, many people have chosen to receive what the devil has to offer instead: ENDURE LIFE. They endure everything and anything! It shows in how they talk and the negative slant they have on everything. They are ever quick to spot the ugly aspect of everything that happens. They drag through life sour and grumpy: Everything is a burden and chore to them.

They even carry it over into church. Church should be a place to be
lifted and encouraged. Rather
than enter the presence of God full of hope that they will receive a word that will turn their lives and situations around, they go to church as if they are going for God’s funeral. Some go to church angry with everyone and keeping MALICE!

If you are like that, you need to stand up and tell the devil today, “Enough is enough; I choose to enjoy this my one life.” God wants you to be one of the happiest people on earth. This does not mean that there will no battles or that your COMFORT ZONE will be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! It just means that regardless of what is happening, God will never leave you nor forsake you; He will never relax His hold on you.

You can always be joyful if you are aware that even when people change, God does not! If God Be For You, Who Can Be Against You? (Rom. 8: 31). Nothing and nobody! Your Father God will never turn His back on His promises! Life Is Too Short For You To Live It Unhappily (Prov 17:22). Yes! Life is too short to be serious all the time. Vs. 34 of today’s 2nd scripture says: “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Did you get that? WE WERE IN OUR OWN SIGHT AS GRASSHOPPERS! They did not say WE WERE IN THE EYES OF GOD AS GRASSHOPPERS!

The Holy Ghost wants you to THINK THE WAY YOUR FATHER GOD THINKS! See things the way God sees things! Stop seeing the things that CIRCUMSTANCES or DEMONIC FORCES are showing you! Jehovah God told them in Numbers 13: 2: “Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel…”

The LORD said: I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE LAND! As far as God is concerned, IT IS DONE! Yes! Despite the presence of those DISCOURAGING GIANTS, the LORD says: I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE LAND! Oh! They forgot that God calls the things that be not as though they were! He called ABRAM, ABRAHAM even when there was no human hope of pregnancy!

Stop calling yourself a GRASSHOPPER when God has described you as an EAGLE (Deuteronomy 32: 11-13). Stop calling yourself a LOSER when God has called you THE HEAD! Always remember that YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS because God has said so! YOU ARE UNIQUE! RESPECT YOUR UNIQUENESS! You are not a GRASSHOPPER! You are a GIANT BULLDOZER! Catch this: “Low self esteem is like driving through life with your handbrakes on.”

Welcome! It was Paul Hawken who said:“This planet came with a set of instructions, but we seem to have misplaced them. Civilization needs a new operating system.” Vs. 8 of today’s scripture says: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye”. Note the words: “I WILL INSTRUCT THEE AND TEACH THEE.” Did you get that? Jehovah God says that He will instruct and teach you what to do in every situation and circumstance.

That means, as long as you are hooked up and connected to Him, you will not be confused or stranded in life. Many people are groping in darkness and swimming in the river of INDECISION, confusion and despair because they lack the voice, instruction and direction of God. Simon Sinek quipped: “Directions are instructions given to explain how. Direction is a vision offered to explain why.” To be INSTRUCTED is to be CONSTRUCTED! Yes!

Your life and destiny will be constructed and shaped if you allow yourself to be instructed in God’s Word and by regularly HEARING FROM GOD (Get my book: How To Hear The Voice Of God). One of the fastest ways to avoid errors or deal with UNNECESSARY STRESS is by DAILY MEDITATION in God’s WORD! Meditation in SILENCE and ALONE with God creates STRENGTH and is one of the greatest “TRANQUILIZERS” (drugs which are used in the treatment of anxiety, fear, tension, agitation, and disturbances of the mind, specifically to reduce states of anxiety and tension). A lot of people want to wait for situations to change before they lighten up their faces and rejoice. They say “as soon as I get out of this problem, I will be happy.” Wrong!

David was a man of great enthusiasm and joy. He declared, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” You can’t afford to keep your mind fixed on the things that are limiting you in life. You were not created by God to be a victim of circumstances.

You were created to be a champion. You were created to reign in life! There are three types of people that the devil cannot
handle:

People who are always praising God!
People who give passionately!
People who are always joyful and POSITIVE about life!
How you live your life is totally up to you. God gave you that right to choose, and you must never let the devil steal it from you. You can choose to be happy regardless of what is happening! You can choose to be hopeful and expectant for the best. That is what God wants for you.

That’s why He said in His Word, “Rejoice in the Lord, and again I say rejoice.” He was saying (paraphrased) “REJOICE BY FORCE because ALL THINGS will work out together for your good at last!” Our Basic Scripture confirms this!

You need to take stock today and find out
what God has given you 1 Timothy 6: 17 says that God has given you richly all things to enjoy! Did you get that? See what God has given by your eyes of faith and stop seeing what the devil is doing! Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done!

In this second half of 2021, the LORD wants you to know that: HE does not have grandchildren. You have equal access to reach out to God like your pastor/prophet does! NOBODY IS BETTER THAN YOU AS FAR AS THE THRONE OF GRACE IS CONCERNED!

The difference, however, is in your obedience to instruction to DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO BE ALONE MORE WITH GOD! Yes! INDISCIPLINE AND LAZINESS are what makes you feel that others are closer to God than you! No!

STOP THAT SATANIC THOUGHT! Stop running from church to church or prophet to prophet, seeking for a word from God! God can talk to you DAILY through His WORD (the Bible) if you just create at least 30 minutes ALONE WITH HIM! At such times, switch off your phones, TV or social media, etc. Using this booklet daily can help and guide you as well.

Verse 10 of today’s 1st scripture says: “Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.” So SILVER and GOLD (money or cash) are INFERIOR to KNOWLEDGE – hearing from God! In fact, HEARING FROM GOD can lead you into a FINANCIAL TURN-AROUND/BREAKTHROUGH secrets because GOD HAS NO GRANDCHILDREN! The richest man in his time was Solomon!

His secret was: TIME WITH GOD COMES BEFORE TIME SEEKING FOR MONEY! Same with Prophet Job! Vs. 11 of Proverbs 8 gives the reason why these men were FINANCIAL BOMBS against the devil: “For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.”

WISDOM means ANY WORD FROM GOD and you can only get that when you are ALONE WITH GOD! Note the underlined above: ALL YOUR DESIRES FOR BREAKTHROUGHS are nothing compared to that 30 minutes with God daily! It will open doors of dancing and break yokes of delay! Amen and amen! BASIC SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 12: 1-7

2 A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

3 A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

5 The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

Someone said: “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” Indeed, in life, the best way out is always through any difficult battle! Diamonds are only chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs.

No wonder Israelmore Ayivor opined: “When resistance closes the door against you, remember that persistence holds the key.” A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence. More and more, I have come to admire resilience.

Each night, I see it in action as I prepare to sleep – the simple resistance of a pillow, whose foam returns over and over to the same shape. I also remember the stubborn tenacity/persistence of a tree: finding the light newly blocked on one side, it turns in another. Yes!

What destiny sends, I bear but it is the persistent that is crowned! Making your mark in the world is hard. If it was EASY, the crowd would make their marks! But it’s not so! It takes commitment, stubborn determination and refusing to QUIT YOUR GOALS! The real test is not whether you will fail sometimes or not!

YOU WILL! The real test is whether you will allow your mistakes and failures/setbacks to harden you or SHAME YOU INTO INACTION or whether you learn from it by HOLDING ON! Today’s scripture Vs. 3 says: “A man shall not be
established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.”

Note the words, “ROOT OF THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL NOT BE MOVED.” That means, the battles you are allowed to go through are to GROW YOUR ROOT DEEPER INTO AN UNMOVABLE STATE! Wow! Every betrayal, every wickedness, every delay, every gossip, every pain or TOUGH TIMES allowed by your God will not sink you but make you DEEPER, STRONGER AND UNMOVABLE even as the wicked will end in UTTER CONFUSION!

Declare aloud now: “Battles are growing my root of FAITH DEEPER and STRONGER in God! I refuse to quit on my DREAMS and I refuse to give up on my God. The wicked shall NEVER be established! They shall fall into deadly shame and disgrace even as my GRACE multiplies daily! This is my day and this is my season!

I shall move from GLORY TO GLORY even as I hold on and hold out in Jesus name.” Pray seriously now! BASIC SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 8: 9-15

10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

11 For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

13 Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Today’s Basic Scripture (NIV), Verses 12-13 says: “Do not call ‘conspiracy’ everything this people calls a conspiracy, do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.”

Vs. 13 says: “Sanctify the LORD of hosts Himself, and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.” The Holy Spirit is sayin DO NOT FEAR THEIR FEARS (Covid-19, etc)! DO NOT DREAD WHAT THEY DREAD (3rd wave of the pandemic, deaths, lockdowns, etc)! DO NOT FEAR ANY CONSPIRACY (satanic gang-ups, witchcraft conspiracies or stubbom enemies, etc)! LET YOUR FEAR IN THIS 2ND HALF OF 2021 BE GOD AND GOD ALONE! Hallelujah! Why is the LORD saying this? It is because of Isaiah 60:1-3 (KJV): “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” Yes! That shall be your story! THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU EVEN WHEN THERE IS GREAT FEAR AND CHAOS ON THE EARTH! In the midst of the THICK ECONOMIC OR SECURITY DARKNESS AND CONFUSION OVER THE EARTH, the glory of the LORD shall be seen upon thee. I prophesy to you and your loved ones: Men shall not see DARKNESS! TOPIC: HE IS JEALOUS! HE IS AN AVENGER!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: NAHUM 1: 1-8

1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.

5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Vs. 2 of today’s Word says: “God is jealous, and the LORD take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies.” The reason why God will AVENGE YOUR HATERS is because HE IS JEALOUS over you.

He is Jealous because He cannot just sit and watch what His Son did at CALVARY to be messed around by ENEMIES! You are the fruit of CALVARY AND GOD GETS FURIOUS each time Satan and his agents want to DOMINATE AND OPPRESS YOU!

Ah, see another reason why God is jealous: Zechariah 2: 8 – “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; ‘After the glory hath He sent Me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye.” He is JEALOUS AND WILL AVENGE YOUR HATERS WITH FURY because YOU ARE THE APPLE OF HIS EYE! No matter what is happening around your life, family and ministry, always remember that the LORD is a jealous God, and an avenger!

Psalm 94:1 says: “O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew Thyself.” REFUSE TO BE BITTER OR DEPRESSED! Always pray: “LORD GOD to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew Thyself.’ Ah, I see vengeance coming against your haters in 12 days from now

TOPIC: THERE CAN NEVER BE TWO TOWERS! HOLD ON!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 11: 1-9

People have always asked me, “WHY DID GOD STOP THE TOWER OF BABEL?” The Bible is not very clear (specific) on that, but the gencral reason is that IT WAS AGAINST THE WILL OF GOD!

Jewish historians came up with the idea that the descendants of NOAH actually started building that TOWER TO ESCAPE or prevent the effects of another flood. So the TOWER WAS MAN’S EFFORT and AUDACITY
to WRESTLE AGAINST GOD in case He decided to destroy the world
again by FLOOD! Wow!

This is why you must never forget in all you do that, THE ARM OF FLESH WILL FAIL YOU! Never create your own shortcut to your PROMISED LAND! These descendants of
NOAH forgot that COVENANT OF THE RAINBOW in which GOD decided NEVER to use FLOOD as a punishment! But they must have thought: LET’S BUILD A TOWER IN CASE GOD CHANGES HIS MIND.

Ha ha! They did not know that the real TOWER was coming in the future as THE SEED OF THE WOMAN! That is why the Bible says that the name of the LORD IS A STRONG TOWER! God stopped that TOWER because THERE CANNOT BE TWO TOWERS! Oh, lift up your hands and praise the LORD! Oh, thank God that you and I are
SAFE IN THIS NEW TOWER – THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

See Proverbs 18:10 says: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower the righteous runneth into it and is safe” By building that TOWER, men were attacking God’s REDEMPTION PLAN! And they were also causing the ABORTION OF THE ETERNAL COMMAND be fruitful and multiply! How could they multiply if they were all in one CENTRAL COMMAND TOWER?

TOPIC: GOODNESS AND MERCY

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PSALM 23: 1 -6

Every day, Christians all over the world recite the last verse of Psalm 23, but very few people really understand what it means. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life. Do you know that if something is following you, you ought to know the purpose for it.

You always confess that the goodness and mercy of the Lord is following you, yet you don’t expect it to work for you! One Bible version puts it this way – “ONLY GOODNESS AND KINDNESS PURSUE ME, all the days of my life…” In John 10:9, Jesus describes the life of a sheep that is in His fold. He said that “If any man enter in by Me, he shall be saved and he shall go in and out and find pasture.” As a sheep of God’s fold, He has given you His goodness and mercy to accompany you every day of your life to everywhere that you go.

OH! CATCH THIS: The goodness of the Lord will cause good things to happen to you everywhere you go; while His mercy will prevent evil things from prevailing in your life. Understanding this will put you in a different realm. You will no more be moved by the things happening to people around you or your nation Only one thing will count: what the goodness and mercy of the Lord can do.

What the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: “I am the LORD! With my goodness and mercy accompanying you, you need not fear any EVIL, SHAME, OR FAILURE! TOPIC: FOCUS ON YOUR GRACE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GALATIANS 2: 1-10

Welcome to today’s devotional! Vs. 7 of today’s scripture declared: “Bun uncontrarywise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter.” THE ALL-WISE GOD knows you and He knows what assignment He created you for. PAUL WAS GIVEN THE GOSPEL OF uncircumcision, WHILE PETER was given the GOSPEL OF CIRCUMCISION.

The Holy Ghost is sending a warning today: DO NOT ENVY OTHERS! DISCOVER AND FOCUS ON YOUR DIVINE CALLING! FOCUS on the GRACE given to you. Vs. 9 says: “And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Banabas the right hands of fellowship: that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.” Thank God others PERCEIVED THE GRACE given to PAUL and they encouraged him.

Envy can be defined as the art of counting the blessings of others instead of your own! Appreciate God for where you are and who you are! That is why in life, it is good to manifest plainness, embrace simplicity, reduce selfishness and have a few desires! Always remember François Duc de La Rochefoucauld: “Our envy always lasts longer than the happiness of those we envy. Wow! Note this: or the seven deadly sins, is a BOOMERANG! Admire others but never envy them because God made you SPECIAL!

If you want to live a happy and abundant life, start focusing on all you have! Start to recognize all your blessings. Appreciate what you have – your gifts and your calling! If you don’t focus on your GRACE NOW and it is taken away from you, time will make you appreciate what you had. May you not look back and cry: HAD-I-KNOWN! Pray seriously now. LET GOD USE YOU. St Augustine once asked: What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.

Then Verse 6 of today’s scripture says: “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love” Note: FAITH WORKS BY LOVE! Without LOVE, even if you fast and pray for 100 years, your results will be few. That is why you must constantly make sure that no trace of bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, stinginess, malice, hatred, racism, gossiping about others behind them, etc, is found in you. YOUR PRAYERS CANNOT WORK without LOVE. Love is the fuel of faith! Love is the engine oil of faith! Without it, your life vehicle will knock! Vs. 14 says “For all the law is fulfilled in one word even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” ALL THE LAW others, your prayer engine will knock. If you still compete with others, your FAITH will disappoint you. “Above all love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:. If you are fighting for titles and positions in church, you will not go far in life and ministry. Yes! If you are bitter with husband or wife, you will be BLOCKED in your fasting and prayer programmes and your report card will be NO RESULTS! The greatest BLOCKER of your prayers is not the devil. It is LACK OF LOVE IN YOU. Listen to Bob Goff “But the kind of love that God created and demonstrated is a costly one because it involves sacrifice and presence. It’s a love that operates more like a sign language than being spoken outright” Wow! Let your life be a sign to others! Show LOVE till men change your name to ‘RIVER OF LOVE!
