God bless you for saying the truth. It’s like people enjoy being lied to. Going for an undergrad at that age is extremely hard getting the visa. If he has money, he can go to UK or EU and find his way to where he wants from there. That’s an easier route. If it’s a masters degree for that age, better chance.
But all these ones like people feeding their emotions.

Temmrow:

What will he end up doing? Than to study there, I mean do his undergraduate there and after that, he can further more if he want to do his Masters. And by doing that, he will also be working. Except for the language barrier. And there are some people I mean Nigerians that are also there, and they are okay. And after his studies he can relocate. Abi what else?

And moreover, am just suggesting.

Or do you also have an idea of what he will end up doing in US?
You are not God nah.

madam, a lot of shalaye in this your thing, I have never been to a visa interview before but from what I read here, I realized that home tie is almost the most important aspect of these interviews, so in that number 8 I'll advice you be brief and straight to the point like "i will be returning to Nigeria to take up a new position proposed by the company I work for, as their Data Specialist" simple! Leave the long talk, your hubby has a lot of money shaa, wish you the best Madam.

These are good Questionaire and Answers.
One thing you need to be certain of is that Questions Usually comes from your DS160
Give direct response. Do not elongate your answers with something that would trigger the consulate to ask you a question.
For example, if your Mom is sponsoring you.

Question: Who is sponsoring your education .
Answer: My Mom.

The Consular didn't ask for the name cos he or she already saw that in your DS 160 and you stated that it's ur mom.

Later they might ask again that, " Oh you said your Aunty would be sponsoring you right "

If you're not careful you might yes and that's a red flag

Consulate believes you have done research about the school, heritage, history, and the city more why you choose the school.

They belived you have a future plane with what you want to study. All the Best

1. CONSULAR: Why Are You Going to the US?

ME: I’m going to the USA for my masters degree program in computer and information science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock

2. CONSULAR: Why the US?

ME: The US has more advanced and sophisticated tools and methods used by fortune 500 companies, like Facebook, google, Microsoft and so on. Skills which I require to be able to visualize and fetch more information from Big Data.( tools and methods like Cassandra, spark, storm etc incase he asks)

3. CONSULAR: How Did You Hear About This School?

ME: I carried out an extensive research using Google and some academic websites to search for schools that offers my course of interest and I found a few schools that I met their requirements amongst was University of Arkansas

4. CONSULAR: How Many Schools Did You Apply To?

ME: I applied to 4 schools and they are university of Arkansas at Little Rock, Iowa state university at Ames Iowa, University of Houston, Houston Texas and University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

5. CONSULAR: What Do All These Schools Have in Common?
ME: They all offer my course of interest

6. CONSULAR: Why Did You Choose this School?

ME: The University centers on a core of courses covering major traditional areas of computer science in line with my course, and it allows the flexibility in acquiring an in-depth knowledge in various other areas of specialization through elective courses.

7. CONSULAR: Tell Me About Your Academic Background?

ME: I finished from university of ilorin in 2016, then I went for my compulsory NYSC in 2017 at the federal university Lafia at their ASUU office, where I worked as a secretary using small data analysis tool like excel for data entry and management, after my nysc program I got a job at xyz Nig LTD in January 2018 as a data analyst and I’ve been working with them till now

8. CONSULAR: Why Do You Need this Masters or What Will this degree do for you?

ME: Working with companies in the past, I realize the importance of Big Data Analysis. And this Masters Program will help me advance from being a data analyst to becoming a data specialist, equipping me with advanced and sophisticated skills and methods using more advanced tools used in processing Big Data.
Which in turn will make me competent and valuable in my field as a data specialist and as a consultant and i will be returning to Nigeria to take up a new position proposed by the company I work for, as their Data Specialist, and eventually over the years as I build in my career as my own personal goal, I’ll be setting up a Data Consultancy firm to serve clients and prospective customers especially now that there's significant boom in the IT/Financial technology sector.

10. CONSULAR: What is your work role?

ME: As a data analyst, I’m responsible for scrutinizing information using data analysis tools like Tableau, I extract needed data using computerized models, I remove corrupted data, perform initial and final analysis to access the quality of data. The meaningful results i pull from the raw data help employers or clients make important decisions by identifying various facts and trends.

11. CONSULAR: What’s this course about?

ME: The program is Data Science, concerned with the collection, screening, storing and presenting of data. Now, when we talk data, we mean Big Data from companies like MTN, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Facebook and the likes, which will help them in decision making for the now and future. Data is money, and companies that have Big Data without good analysis is losing big-time in the money market. These type of data is how Facebook is able to monitor users online behavior, and come up with deciding on what business to propose to their users and display in their screens. Most of these comes in form of ads.

11. CONSULAR: What are those courses you’ll be taking/ Tell me about your program/What is your study plan?

ME: The study program spans for a period of 24 months (from Jan 18th, 2022 to Jan 20th, 2024), during which I'm expected to complete a total of 30 credit unit, out of which 2 of it are thesis instead of projects. And I will be offering courses like software engineering, operating systems, computer architecture, technology and networking, analysis of algorithm, among others.

12. CONSULAR: Can you not continue your education in your country?

ME: No, it'll be somewhat difficult, as that will not make me competent.
Reason is, education and academic calendar in Nigeria is either always interrupted or not well delivered.
I'll prefer to be exposed to a global standard, be competent, bring that training and idea back here and do better for myself.

13. CONSULAR: Did You Write Any Standardized Test?

ME: I wrote GRE and scored 314

14. CONSULAR: Are you married and with children?

Hello everyone,
Please how likely is it that you’ll be able to get EA if you had a visa denial in August. It says on the website that EA can be requested 60 days to your program start date and if you haven’t been been denied a visa in the last 6 months.
I want to know if I should put my mind on January or just wait until Fall 2022.

Hello bro, Please, what other questions did the Korean guy ask during your interview apart from your travel history? I will be going for my interview at the Abuja embassy soon.

Good evening bro, he said that from my I-20 he can see that I have a scholarship ( it wasn't a scholarship. It is RA with tuition waiver), that who is going to cover the deficit? And also where do I work ? Those were the questions he asked me.

I wish you the best of luck bro.

Your referees can submit later. Just ensure you submit the application before the deadline. In fact, you can add and remove and send reminders to referees after submitting your application.

Can i make corrections or will it affect my interview? Thanks

I don’t think this is a problem, provided the applicant name matches what’s on your passport and dsc 160.

Appointment made by………. may not be a problem.

I wonder o my brother, you know the truth is bitter, going for an undergraduate at that age might give red flag. And not waist money or disappointment he/she should go to Europe with better chance, and after completing his/her studies from there, it will be easy to relocate and move on. Except he/she have money to spend, he can go to UK. SIMPLE!

I don't know why people refuse to understand something or someone.

Are they not human being that are there? Doing well self..

What matter most is the Grace and Mercy of God.

Thanks my brother for your understanding jare
