And after shutting it down, COVID would miraculously disappear from Nigeria right? What’s the positive effect of shutting down a service whose close substitutes are everywhere and ready to take over? Make una Dey pretend sometimes say una no Dey clueless nah cry

Check my signature, I have a 2016 Honda Accord toks selling cheap with just 23k mileage.

The same reason airports, sporting events, concerts church gatherings etc are discouraged. To stem the spread of covid-19. A responsible government should always be proactive in protecting the public.

If what? Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi?

Covid-19 is a novel virus, almost first of it’s kind. Fortunately for Africa—almost like our “chi” knows that we cannot handle this pandemic, and its been bearable in these climes. If it was left with these men, only God knows what would have been of the average family by now.

The lockdown is a stringent but neccesary measure to curb this virus, but unfortunately I would not advise it for Nigeria. If they have to lockdown, at least emulate other reasonable countries that are locking down and offering citizens with relief materials to cope with the Lockdown.

Joe Biden has just pushed to pay every single American $2000—albeit considerations monthly, but would Nigeria see that?

Instead they would hoard private-offered relief materials and offer as birthday, or campaign packages.

The level of shit we receive in this country is humorous.

Let me say it, clearly we’re not managing this pandemic well. It may stay for a very long time—even after they roll out the vaccines, because before they politicize the vaccination process, people that have already been vaccinated would get re-infected, because the virus trampers with immune memory. God help us because this handshake don dey reach elbow.

One whole year, wasted, gone to the dogs.

What has vaccines got to do with trains. Just say you don't like infrastructure just because buhari is building it

Read your question again, Gopel. And then re-analyze my comment.

Amaechi has said they would stop train operation because of Corona-Virus.

First of all, how do they expel the virus? If your answer is vacinnation or lockdown, then delete this question.

The Government needs to take very serious steps.
Passengers should follow all Covid procedures and same should reflect in the sitting procedure.
We don't pray for further escalation.

Which escalation sorry? From what exactly??

4k passagers a day, that's impressive, 2k by 4000 people is 800k

Loan servicing 400k a day

Maintanance 100k

Salaries 150k

State governments 50k

Federal government 100k

You dun borrow finish? Abi you dey write up another borrowing letter.

Rubbish talk from a funny person.

Fashion and amaechi have been an embarrassment. I hang it on the highest leadership, they gave them post based on the budget size and the borrowing potential, not based on intermediate knowledge of the issues they are leading or long term experience on the issue.

Other countries are making testing for covid-19 free of charge but in naija we are being charged N40,000 for testing.
If measures are taken to curb the spread of coro in the train no one will be infected or contract the virus. Test passengers before and after entering the train. They should wear face masks always and should be spaced when seated in the train.
Simple as that

Government pikin mentality.
Show me 1 business amechi ran before joining politics. NONE.
No business man will want his business shut down how much more when he took billions in dollars to fund the business.
You can clearly see the problem of Nigeria here.

shocked

Stopping train services simply because of not observing covid-19 protocols while the same covid-19 protocols are broken in NIMC offices would make a sensible Nigerian think if we are being led by a bunch of foolish old politicians or if we are being seen as their co-fools
Because nimc is not complying mean nerc should not comply too.
