Am against this stingy men association of Nigeria stuffs but some ladies are too stupid when demanding for money from men sha. Imagine a lady I asked out yesterday to an eatery and she brought another lady along so I got upset and couldn't say anything in her presence but entertain them both sha, I got angry and left the place in annoyance without her notice after paying off the bill. Imagine last night, the foolish lady called to asked of 4,500 for her hair. I plainly told her God will punish your generation in Jesus mighty name. Stupid 1 Like |

Akell: When Christians are stingy they usually never realize it. You can give and still be stingy. There are some people who give, but with a grudging heart. They think “Aww, do I really have too?” There are some people who offer things, but in their mind they hope the other person says no.
We must not be lovers of self and lovers of money. We must think about others just like Christ thought about us. Give with a cheerful heart not expecting anything in return. Be generous and love others just like Christ loves you. Stinginess is not part of the Christian life.
People are worth more than material things you must never forget that. Where are you storing up your treasures? Would you rather buy stuff or help the poor? Why not readjust your giving today and be a blessing to others. It is so hard for rich people to enter into Heaven.
What does the Bible say?
1. Proverbs 28:22-24 The stingy person hastens after riches and does not know that poverty will overtake him. The one who reproves another will in the end find more favor than the one who flatters with the tongue. The one who robs his father and mother and says, “There is no transgression,” is a companion to the one who destroys.
2. Proverbs 23:6-8 Do not eat the food of a stingy person, do not crave his delicacies; for he is like someone calculating the cost in his mind. “Eat and drink,” he says to you, but his heart is not with you; you will vomit up the little bit you have eaten, and will have wasted your pleasant words.
Give not with a grudging heart
3. 2 Corinthians 9:7-10 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
4. 1 Chronicles 29:9 The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the LORD. David the king also rejoiced greatly.
5. Romans 12:8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
6. Proverbs 11:24-27 One person is generous and yet grows more wealthy, but another withholds more than he should and comes to poverty. A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides water for others will himself be satisfied. People will curse the one who withholds grain, but they will praise the one who sells it. The one who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but the one who searches for evil—it will come to him.
7. Deuteronomy 15:8-11 Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need. Do not be mean-spirited and refuse someone a loan because the year for canceling debts is close at hand. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy person cries out to the LORD, you will be considered guilty of sin. Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do. There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.
Treasures in Heaven
8. Luke 12:16-24 Then he gave an illustration: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops. In fact, his barns were full to overflowing—he couldn’t get everything in. He thought about his problem, and finally exclaimed, ‘I know—I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones! Then I’ll have room enough. And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “Friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Wine, women, and song for you!”’ “But God said to him, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. Then who will get it all?’ “Yes, every man is a fool who gets rich on earth but not in heaven.” Then turning to his disciples he said, “Don’t worry about whether you have enough food to eat or clothes to wear. For life consists of far more than food and clothes. Look at the ravens—they don’t plant or harvest or have barns to store away their food, and yet they get along all right—for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!”
9. 1 Timothy 6:18-19 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.
10. Matthew 25:34-40 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Be generous
11. Proverbs 22:9 The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
12. Luke 6:38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
13. Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.
Reminders
14. Proverbs 11:26-27 The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the head of him who sells it. Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.
15. Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
16. 1 Peter 4:8-10 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. [quote author=ORIENTATION101 post=98148126]this is the biblical passage that sman established their platform on
Proverb 31 chapter 3 to 4 Don't spend all your energy on sex and all your money on women; they have destroyed kings. [/quote 100% on point. The Op is just overzealous without a proper comprehension and application of bible principles. |

Coronavirus84: Am against this stingy men association of Nigeria stuffs but some ladies are too stupid when demanding for money from men sha. Stupid must u take her to an eatery why not try alternatives that takes money out of the picture? spending money from the beginning is what ladies capitalise on. Let me tell u, ladies hardly disturb who they love for money. they look out for magas to sort their issues. 2 Likes |

Nah stingy we stingy o we are not irresponsible you can ask our wives, sisters and mothers. The truth is that most people don't really understand the concept of this SMAN. The truth is that some people expect you to burn yourself so as to keep them warm all in the name of been a nice person. We are really going to kick against such act. |
