Are you one of those who planned to get married in 2020?

While it is not advisable to get into marriage out of pressure or because your 'village' people are counting your age for you, it is most times good to get married early, medically and otherwise. But then, the need to get married early should not make you desperate, as to make wrong choices.

Marriage is a lifetime commitment, and a commencement of a new family and generation, hence, you need absolute preparation for it.

1. SELF DISCOVERY

How well do you know yourself? Some people just go about searching for a life partner without knowing what they want, like and what they don't. So most of them end up moving from one failed relationship to the other, and at the end of the year, confused about who to settle with. Compatibility is important in marriage. When you know and understand yourself, you'll know the kind of people you will give make friends with, and give chances in your life.

2. ADD VALUE TO YOUR LIFE

The Bible says that the 'deep calleth for deep.' What that means is, the class of people you'll meet in 2021, is a product of the value you will add to your life. If you want to marry an intelligent person, you need to prove to the people you meet that you are intelligent as well, so learn the things that makes you intelligent.

There are people who like you but can't come close to you because of your spoken English, or the way you dress. There are people who should be close to you, but they feel you're not disciplined. It's not pride, it's value. There are wealthy people who avoid you because they think you'll be a liability to them.

When you add value to your life, your social cycle will change and the people you meet will change as well. There are people who can't hold intelligent conversations outside sex, and sex alone can't guarantee you a happy marriage. When you add value to your life, you will easily meet someone who shares these values, and falling in love then becomes a spontaneous action.

3. MAKE MONEY

With the failing economies of nations, financial security is as important as anything else in marriage. As a guy or a Lady who wants to get married in 2021, MAKE MONEY. Have a sustainable means of making money, not crypto or forex. Start a business or get a job.

Like I keep saying, in 2020, there were lots and lots of investments. Forex, crypto and many other high paying investment networking programs, but truth be told, most of these programs can't guarantee you wealth, or outrightly, most of them don't work.

If you started a poultry farm in January 2020 where you sell birds at 8 weeks you must have made sales for 6 times, and must have made your turn over.

If you started the year with cake making, and with good publicity, you make two cakes in a month, you must have made 24 cakes. That's sustainable ventures.

Believe me, you can't do these three things stated above and not meet your Mr/ Mrs Right. Someone who is compatible with you, someone you share the same or almost the same values, and someone who you can happily spend the rest of your life with.

DON'T BEGIN 2021 WITHOUT A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS to boost your income or as an alternative source of income.
